Cho'Gath the Terror of the Void and the Terrified Tank.

Hey guys I'm here to try and open up a small discussion about our favorite Dragon/insect/lizard-crustation from the void Chogath . Let me start off by saying that I main Cho. Not only that but I almost exclusively play him to a point where I do bad when I don't play him. That being said I don't think Cho needs any buffs however could use one quality of life improvement. The improvement I speak of has to do with his ult. As of right now his ult is as such: ACTIVE: Cho'Gath devours target enemy, dealing true damage (1000 (+ 70% AP) true damage against minions and monsters). TRUE DAMAGE: 300 / 475 / 650 (+ 70% AP) If Feast kills the target, Cho'Gath grows larger and gains extra health and basic attack range, stacking up to six times. Cho'Gath loses half of these stacks, rounded up whenever he dies. (Lost stacks being rounded up, thus, kept stacks rounded down.) My current issue with the ult is that when Cho dies and loses half of his stacks it really prevents him from doing his job as a tank. Cho players are always in fear of losing their stacks and thus are somewhat reluctant to go all in. The present state of the ult makes it so Cho has the potential to reverse snowball to the point where he is down to zero stacks and unable to really tank up decent damage. So here is what I propose. Cho's ult stays the same as it is now except with one additional feature. Every time Cho reaches 6 stacks he gains a stack of gluttony. The stack of gluttony acts as a permanent stack of his feast and can only stack up to 6 times. So if Cho wanted to reach 6 stacks of Gluttony and keep the bonuses of his full stacks permanently he would have to die a minimum of 5 times and use feast to successfully kill something 21 times. I feel if this was incorporated into his kit that his potential to reverse snowball would be greatly reduced without making Cho too powerful.

TLDR: Cho reverse snowballs due to ult and can't tank. To stop that Every time Cho reaches 6 stacks he gains a stack of gluttony. gluttony acts as a permanent stack of his feast and can only stack up to 6 times.

Let me know what you guys think and sorry for the wall of text

so you can't get a second stack of gluttony until you die and build up 6 stacks again? not sure you should be ENCOURAGING cho's to die

Im not encouraging him to die but instead its a cushion for him when he dies. When Cho dies after having 6 stacks of feast he drops to 3. If he dies again he will drop to one and another death results in him having no stacks. The stacks of Gluttony enables him to at least remain at 1 stack permanently. If cho never dies which is of course preferable he keeps his full 6 stacks of feast. However if he was to die he has a fall back that prevents him from completely reverse snowballing. Gluttony is the same as feast but permanent. If Cho's feast was permanent from the start he would be too strong so this is a nice in-between or so I thought.
