It's been 2 years since Practice Tool was created and we still don't have all champions available

I can't believe they didn't implement that. It's PRACTICE Tool after all.

"Practice tool" against a retarded bot that literally runs below your tower over and over. Still waiting for it to be available with other players

riot: "we are introducing a practice mode, but we have to make sure to keep it as restrictive and unappealing as possible to ensure that the majority of players won´t use this feature and stays in summoner´s rift."

Same. It's just unbelievable I have to farm for 30 minutes to test builds and stuff vs specific champions who aren't training dummies.

They don't have the resources, RIot is a small indie company bro

Practice tool is for you to practice your game with your tools available. You aren't suddenly given a baseball bat and glove when you walk onto a practice baseball field, you have to provide your own. This is the same way. You need to provide your own equipment and tools (champions) in order to practice with them.

And why is that a good thing exactly?

Imagine you got the things provided you need to practice. Wouldn´t that be better? It´s not like that stuff can be stolen. And if every champion was unlocked you would be able to also look into champions you play against to see where their limitations are.

seems unnecessary restrictive to me

Not really. If you want to play a champion, spend BE and buy said champion. It's not complicated. If you want to test a champion, use them on the free rotations. There are PLENTY of avenues to test champions, so there really isn't a need to unlock all champs for Practice tool.

so how does not having all the champions unlocked improve the practice mode?

the only reason I can think of to why this system is the way it is is pressuring players into buying/unlocking champs straight away

And what if I don't have enough BE (a 3000 BE difference i.e.) and the champion I want to test was in the free rotation last week? That seems like RITO is actually trying to discourage non-RP ways to buy a champion (which is most likely what they're doing)

hold hold on! so to you 1 form of testing if you like a champion is mainly being lucky that the champion appears on champion rotation and that to you is ''plenty of avenues''...what? 1 option isn't ''plenty of avenues'' it's just 1 avenue

I mean, providing baseball equipment would mean people have to pay for it, in this case Riot just needs to press a few buttons or write some new stuff into a code, and the overall increase of customer satisfaction could increase their income too... Especially if they would let us try out skins for free in practice tool

A bat and a glove are actual, material items that have to be bought by whoever provides them. So if the field management doesn't want to buy equipment for random people or risk it having stolen, it's different from what we have here.

It costs nothing for Riot to enable all champions in Practice mode. You can't "steal" a champion and run from the practice mode while keeping them.

IMO Riot should enable not only all champions, but also all skins for Practice mode. Not doing so is just a scammy business practice - they don't want to allow players to try something they might like but don't own in a solo mode, because they might decide not to purchase it after testing.

Tell that to Dota and HoTS

So much for a practice tool, it has very limited options, such as not being able to custom edit your base stats or make your champion do something specific.

Or ways to make Training Dummies be X Champion with X items.

Automated Riven2 votes

I would 1million times rather have the ability to adjust dummy stats and invite friends then have all champs unlocked.

You shouldn't have to practice a champ you can't play in the first place.
