What Happens Now?

So this has been my first season, and sadly I ended in Silver 1 (better luck next season!). Once the season ends, what happens after that? Can I still play ranked?

Yes, it will just be preseason but it won't count for rewards

I think they take down ranking for some time (don't know the exact) and once it's back up pre-season basically starts so while you play it I don't think you actually rank up until the season actually starts and you play your 10 placements matches.

You still rank up normally, it will just be reset when the season starts

1day, pre season starts today on patch 6.22 28days later S7 starts.

You can still play Ranked, and although it will still reset your rank when the next Season starts, any MMR changes you had during the preseason still count and will effect your placement matches.
