So, this has been the first time I've played when an ultimate skin is being released, and when I checked the past ones, they had a release sale that only last for a bit. Any chance that this skin is going to follow the same path as the previous ultimates too?

With the early sale system it will be released at full price of 3250 RP. 4-6 months after it released, it will be on early sale for 2450RP for 1 weekend only.

By pushing that early sale back to 4-6 months after release they are trying to tempt and push people into spending that extra money to have that skin at release cause you know people arent that patient .
They could at least propose a 50% sale for waiting that long but that would be daydreaming .

Having incentive to get players to buy something isn't greed in a FREE TO PLAY game. You can play this entire game without spending a dime, so it's incredibly unfair to accuse Riot of greed. Furthermore, this skin is a beast, even compared to other Ultimate skins. The people who pumped time, effort, programming, voice acting, and everything else in this skin get paid for their work, and people buying their content pays for it. Their salaries have to come from somewhere, and in a free game, RP purchases are the only way they get paid. So no, this isn't greed at all, it's keeping their employees paid so they can continue to deliver great content.

I get that League is as you call it a FREE TO PLAY game but personnaly as a person who soaked up alot of time and money into the game i'm starting to see some marketting practices that left me bitter as a consumer .
YES Skins does not influence in any manner the core gameplay of the game but it still represents one important aspect of it .
Getting from a 50% discount at release on the first ultimate skin To a 25% after 6 months nowadays i call that Greedy , adding to that the fact that they are overflowing the market with 1350 Rp Skins .
I get it that skins are getting more and more inventive and polished but so is the game .
League is evolving and so is its market and that specially since Hippalus joined them as their eCommerce Director .
