@RiotMeddler Garen is almost certainly too "strong"
Quick update: No Garen changes in the hotfix. He's almost certainly too strong, and we'll probably go through with the nerfs in 5.17, he's not so out of line we need to act before the next regular patch though. Taking the time to assess how he's doing a bit more as a result.
Can you explain to me how exactly the balance team feels he is too strong at the moment? He gets kited around super hard right now. I don't feel even with the buffs in 5.16 he will ever see the competitive scene because his glaring weaknesses are too obvious like getting kited to oblivion. The only reliable build right now on Garen despite what bronze players complain about "Tank Garen Herp Derp too much damage" is only Crit Garen. The only problem with Crit Garen is how hard it is to get to that point in game where you can get two decent items like

and how damn squishy you are. You need an actual front tank line in order to go that route and if you don't you are still just the same Garen with the occasional true damage on the Villain.
Did I mention Fiora in her current broken as hell state is not even recieving one damn nerf in 5.17.
How is this justified?
