Plea to change one small thing about Promos (3v3) #2
With 3v3 being the ghost town that it is, it's becoming perfectly normal for games to be one-sided, which are decided by rank difference. Unlike 5v5, where there's a few divisions up or down on average, games over here, at the Twisted Treeline can be as interesting as all 3 members on one team being challengers and/or masters, while the other team can be filled with people ranging from gold to diamond.
As it was mentioned before, these games are (to no surprise) one-sided stomps, and being on the receiving end of those is absolutely horrible. Luckily, in "regular" games (read: non-promo) RIOT's system does a great job of minimizing losses for when you're placed in a match you shouldn't ever be placed in; and as such, the LP loss is about 1/3 or 1/4 of what you would normally lose. Pretty handy.
The problems comes when such matches occur in promos (and that's not seldom), where, despite the fact that the system would otherwise rule this game out as unfair and make it easy on the losing team, you still earn a full loss.
I'd made a thread about this awhile back but it was ignored. So here I am, coming out of a promo game like that one, pleading once again that matches which would regularly be considered unfair and the receiving end would take minimized losses are treated the same way when they're promotion matches.
