Is Morgana a worthy champion for the victorious skin?

Well as you just saw on the main page, is receiving this year's victorious skin.

She was a huge player in this year's competitive scenes as well as one of the most played champions in the game. ( My most played in ranked actually )

Even though she was mostly played support, if we are going with the " one Victorious skin per role " she would be a mid ( I actually really like her mid )

She's only gotten one skin a year it seems, which isn't bad. Yeah and are crying in a corner, but I'm sure most people would rather get a skin for a champion with plenty of skins for the Victorious skin as opposed to one who is lacking. I mean if you weren't gold in season 3 you only have 2 choices for Elise, default and Death Blossom, and her getting the Victorious skin more or less meant those who weren't are out of luck seeing how much work it takes to make a skin for a champion like her.

So, do you think Morgana was a great choice for the skin? I've noticed people say the champion with the most influence on the season gets a skin, and so far I have to agree. I don't know how impactful Janna and Jarvan were, since I wasn't around in S1 and was still new in S2, but seeing how Elise was my best friend's most played in S3 and Morgana was mine in S4, I kinda see where they are coming from.

No, just no.

She severly lacks any form of counterplay and really is a prime example of a kit you want to ban out because it´s absolutely no fun to play against.

She's 4th in pick rate and 4th in ban rate.

It is season 4.

Honestly I think she is perfect. She is one of the most popular picks in both Solo Q (across all tiers) and LCS for 2014. She has many skins already available, so it isn't a repeat of Elise where she only has 1 skin available to date because Riot counted the Victorious as her second. Anyone who was silver and below last season, or people who just played normals, ARAMs, or were just starting out now only have 1 skin to pick from.

I think her impact was worth it, though I was expecting Lucian or something because of their impact earlier in the season. But Morgana finally created a support upheaval in bot lane.

Tanks were simply TOO popular, it was Thresh and Leona all day and the day after, the people who could not react to Morgana got crushed and sustain supports had some chance to exist.

The difference between a GOOD support and a "Morgana is free elo, I better pick her!" is immense. The basic tank supports of Thresh and Leona had a relatively high skill floor for non support players to use as a crutch. The impact of Morgana through the ecosystem of bronze-gold support has forced people to "Get good" instead of using tank supports at low skill levels.

Source : gold 2 and able to play all roles.

Also git good and use minions as meatshields.

Doesn't seem like a terrible choice, Morganna seems like the kind of champion Riot wants as a support - rather than snooze fest healing she has some pretty clutch skills, along with a heavier item dependency than a lot of the supports of past seasons. Her ultimate is also generally pretty risky, and all her moves are easy to dodge and play around, but very powerful if they hit.

Morganna is a fine pick.

She broke up the bottom lane and ushered in new supports that season three didn't have.

While I feel "role" should go somewhat into the decision process, in that we now have two supports, and two junglers (arguably 1 mid, 1 top, 1 jungle, 1 support) it's a fine choice.

ADC however, has defined this entire SEASON, but choosing which of the dominant ADC's would be very difficult.

Personally, giving it to Tristana would've been acceptable as well.

She is banned a ton! Picked when she's not banned and has been very impactful this season. I have to agree with you about the most impactful champions. You have to remember season one there was no leona, braum, thresh, or ap characters playing support so janna made some awesome plays. I know she's not the most popular pick but she does seem like the right one to me.

One last thing. The problem I have with all the people wanting a marksman adc skin is that only a few of the marksman are truly viable....lucian is used a lot because of his kit as was ezreal in previous seasons.....in my opinion marksman is the most lacking in champion design by riot.

Yes, she's taken the crown as the strongest support of the season. She can also be taken seriously as a champion (she's not shaco or gangplank). She does deserve a victorious skin.

Yeah. I mean why not. Honestly I would've just rather it be a 6300 champ so I could get a real gameplay reward out of it like people did last year with Elise. Id have loved free Elise. But instead I get a 1350 I already have who I find kinda boring.

Morgana makes sense; I'm a little miffed personally since I think she's just broken as a support, and I would have personally voted for Lulu, but Riot seems to hate Lulu, with the constant nerfs and all. It honestly doesn't seem fair; Lulu is such a powerful pick as mid or top lane, and even through Riot has been constantly nerfing practically everything about her, she's still super strong in those roles; Morgana on the other hand was practically untouched for most of the season, and got some minor nerfs that really don't impact her, and now I haven't been seeing much of her lately; Lulu is still super common, as she has been throughout most of the season. I know she has a lot of skins, but so does Morg, honestly.

Not that it really affects me; I'm only in Silver now. I was going to try for a last minute grind to Gold, but now I really don't care since I really don't like playing Morgana; I just permaban her since I hate playing against her too.

I personally don't think it should be Morgana, I'm surprised it isn't Lucian to be honest. Morgana has become popular lately (second half) but she wasn't nearly as high a priority early in the season. Shyvana was tremendously influential early but has similarly fallen out of favor, I don't see either of those champs as "most influential". Lucian on the other hand, he's been the dominant adc all season and even when new ADCs became viable (twitch, kogmaw, tristana) he stil was a top pick and saw competitive play.

I also don't like that 2/4 of the victorious skins have been supports. The other two (Elise, Jarvan) being junglers. I feel like Riot really needs to spread the love with these reward skins, it's honestly insulting to see it go to support/jungle every year.
