Riot is Gragasing Nidalee and I'm a very happy camper.

When Riot reworked Gragas, he was intended to be a top / jungle / mid lane brawler.

Well, when Riot noticed people really liked him in the support role, they have been boosting him with that role in mind. Giving his barrel's vision and such.

Well, ever since Nidalee's rework, I've seen a lot of Nidalee jungle. She couldn't really jungle before, but now she can and people love it. I find Jungle Nidalee to be one f the funnest things I've ever played in league and her niche in the jungle is amazing.

So, what has Riot put on the pbe recently?

She can now hunt large monsters and she cans bonus attack damage and armor / mr while auto attacking hunted targets in cougar form. I'm guessing Riot noticed people really enjoyed her in the jungle and hopefully will push these changes through.

Seriously though, I HATED Gragas and Nidalee soooooooooooooooooooo much before their rewokrs to the point that I refused to play them because they were so frustrating. I'm having a ball playing support Gragas from time to time ( I mostly Galio Support when I need a tank though )

Seriously, Nidalee jungle is the cats meow. Great roaming, giving a bit of safety to your team via Bushwhacks when it comes to gank paths. Attack speed buffs and heals for tower pushing sieges. Since her spear kinda tickles now ( it still hurts, don't get me wrong ) if the enemy gets away witha slither of health and bases behind turret, she can do what very few junglers can, clean up from afar while being in no danger. Granted, that does sound pretty toxic, but it feels soooooo good. You may have been late for the gank, but at least you can get your laner an assist.

She is the only true support jungler I can think of. Yeah Maokai gives vision and damage reduction with his saplings / ult, and J4 gives attack speed with his flag toss, but Nidalee has a bit of everything and I for one LOVEEEEEE IT.

So thank you Riot for noticing the sheer fun of Nidalee jungle and making it more of a thing. : >

I can see where it would be fun just not too practical, no cc, a decently hard to land skillshot for the hunted proc or dropping a bushwack in a such a way that they must step on it for the increase pounce range. give me some info on why you think this works well. not trying to bash but the whole tons of damage doesn't really work out to well with me. just editing this real quick, I know Shyvana can jungle and only has the knock back from her ult.

They removed the ability to hunt large monsters. : < Oh despair.

If a gameplay person ever sees this, think of it like this. Don't you think her character's concept belongs in the jungle in the first place? XD Cougar, hunting, traps, spears = jungle.

I took part in the discussion about the gameplay update and jungler Nid was seriously considered as a viable role. I'm really glad to hear that it's working out so good.

It had a lot to deliver upon and this kind of message says that the update/small rework has fufilled its promises.

It also fixed that damn unreliable spear hitbox as well. Harder to land, but more accurate in return. A lot of guess work has been taken out of Nidalee's overall playstyle since the spear was the primary(exclusively even) and biggest source of damage in her old style while now, it meshes great with the rest of her abilities, both for human and cougar form, while remaining a strongest of her abilities.

Vision for armor shred is a varying price to pay, depending on who you ask. The old bushwack was really only effective against tanks but now, it gives vision instead. Perfect for a roaming hunter.

I mean Huntress! Don't spear me!!! ;D

A lot of people suggested giving the spear an execute. It was already dealing heavy damage so adding more to it wasn't going to solve the problem. I'm happy to see that Nidalee was given a lot of care and attention for this update.
