Riot ruined Kog'Maw

I mained Kog'Maw since early season two, I am ranked top ten kogs in NA, and this is the worst I have seen him yet. I do half as much damage as the leading dealer and it doesn't change much as the game progresses. The initial changes were to reduce damage on W to 60%. Thats it. But thats also a lie, its actually now 55% and the W max hp percent damage went from 6% max level to like 1.3%!!! WHAT THE FUCK?! Riot this is not making marksmen better. I could deal the most damage to champions in the game no matter how long the game lasted. Now it is physically impossible to deal damage with this Kog'maw update unless I have six items, Red buff, and a wombo team. I'm sure you want to see these marksmen picked more and to have these games UNIQUE. All I have seen today is a UNIQUE form of kogmaw where he is a negligable mass on summoners rift. Is this what was planned for? On a side note, his w cost mana again!.. his ult cost ten more mana and have 4 extra seconds of debuff time, and less reveal time. I see 1 buff for his attack speed but 10 nerfs in the process. Sorry 10>1 idgaf how big that 1 is.

Ruined a lot more than Koggy. Hopefully they will revert Morde soon.

I feel your pain. Hecarim main with 300+ games on jungle Hecarim alone and ended s5 with a plat 1 banner. Now my main can't do shit because he can't even clear the jungle and can't compete with crit based champs top. I can't imagine the pain of Kog players right now.

I don't think they ruined him at all. I think it was an actual improvement once Riot gets the numbers right on him.

Koggy's W deals %HP damage based on your total AD now. Riot totally removed the base damage. My guess is that they did that to prevent TanKoggy from being too much of a thing. If his W still did 6% of the target's max HP then the best route would be to just grab Wit's and maybe Bork 'n then build nothing but pure tank gear. He would still hit like a truck while at the same time being impossible to kill.

Riot is currently planning on upping the total AD ratio on his %HP damage a bit, giving him 3 more base damage, and restoring the nerf he took to his base attack speed, which was the largest hit Kog took to his damage output.

Personally?

I think Riot should axe Koggy's self-destruct and move his %HP damage there. It isn't like it scales with W level or anything. Koggy's suicide bomber passive is really strong, but doesn't mesh very well with the rest of his kit. Getting rid of it would allow Riot to spread around meaningful power that's actually dedicated to Kog doing his job.
