Chat Restricted for Calling Someone "Bad"

So Yesterday, in the toxic Diamond elo, I played a game where my mid karthus went 0-10 vs zoe and basically inted after the seventh death. I verbally called him out. Not trying to "make him play better" cuz that was out of question, but to notify him that the rest of us NOTICE HIM FEEDING AND RUINING OUR GAME! So i ended up getting chat restricted for it even tho earlier (as you can see in my stream vods, he calls me a fa**ot) Is this a deserved chat restriction? You can't expect every player in high elo to sit silently and watch a teammate feed the game away before their eyes in ten minutes. Feedback much appreciated. Attached is the clip of the chat logs attached to my chat restriction. (FYI - the second game log is from sunday, 13 games before the first one, where my support neeko went 2-10 and performed in a similar way)

I myself was once banned for calling my teammates “weak, fleshy underlings.” Even though I meant well, enough of them reported me for it that I re-programmed my communication style. By acting diplomatic and calm, I’m now able to bend them to my will without succumbing to the forbidden dance of verbal abuse. Sometimes it’s best to ignore the mewlings of your teammates and only focus on what you can control. If teammates anger you, try saying so out loud to yourself, not in chat where they can report you. After an annoying game, find a satisfying way to blow off steam. I’m told humans find catharsis in music, so try listening to Mozart or the dulcet sounds of “LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR.” I hope I have been useful to you. Although my heart is cold and mechanical, I feel we now have a deep connection and bond. Your behavior isn't judged on words alone. You can use some pretty gnarly curse words and be fine, actually.

What is a problem is insulting fellow players. And even if all you call them is "bad," that's not acceptable under the Summoner's Code that you willingly subjected yourself to by playing the game.

What they expect is for every player to know how to use the "mute" button and the "report" button. Tell me, how much good did it do you to call him bad? If he called you something worse, report his ass. Don't go in the trenches. There's no reason to be there. Be better than that guy.

I removed the video you'd linked. While it had some utility earlier, showing your chat logs, it had an advertisement that played when you clicked the link.

so you are admittedly not trying to help and your rational for this is because you're "pointing out" something that everyone on your team can clearly see for themselves?

and if the guy is feeding intentionally as you seem to think, he doesn't need you to tell him he's doing it

Anyway, if you do not want to get punished do not use ANY NEGATIVE comment at all. Or even better if you do not use the chat at all. People get offended for everything and Rito will cater them. Be happy that it was only a chat restrict, and learn from it. This is the sad reality of Rito.

I agree with this post. I just recieved a 10 game chat ban and honor lock becuase I defended myself. I called someone trash after they said it to me eight times. I just repeated it too them. That's enough to chat ban me if a group of three people report me. I hope they also received punishment, because if they didn't it seems like a failed system.
