TL:DR: MMR is not the only intervention in ranked games from Riots, They have a smart system, which manage to make you a loss if you are having a winning streak, THAT NOT RELATED TO MMR.

Reason? Why? To make every possible way for bad players to climb / love the game / it is more money at the end nah?

Now the possible ways of Riot's intervention are.. (You) ---> (someone is having a winning streak)

putting (you) with players that didn't play since 1 year+ (Same MMR)
putting (you) with players having lagg / delay ping (Same MMR)
putting (you) with premades that having a bad history of try hard (Same MMR)

This is Exactly why MMR is Too short, And Tons of people are around 1400~1600.

Edit: i cannot guarantee that its 100% true, it just feels that way to me and the only logical reason that a buff for bad players ^_^ have a nice day.

MMR feels very weird as a mechanic. It helps you when you fall to the extremes but hurts you when you are trying to climb higher then you have ever been. It works entirely differently on new accounts to the point that it almost feels punishing to play on an old one unless you were high to begin with. On a smurf account i placed gold np and still gain more LP on wins then i do no loses but on this old account i had since season 4, loses are more LP and then Wins even though it's clearly more experienced.

I can still climb and i have steadily been climbing its just significantly slower then just creating a new account. My WR is 52% so ill still climb i guess, just will take a while.

All of these are faults on the player's side though.

It's not Riot's fault that you didn't play for a year.

It's not Riot's fault your computer/PC is garbage.

It's not Riot's fault you premade with others.

Calling them "Riot's Interventions" seems like scapegoating.

It's especially in promos that way to prove your skill is worthy of breaking the wall guarding the next mark.
