How to fix Solo Q; Until it's totally destroyed in favor of team-based rank play.

Let's change how we queue up:

Pick your role. Pick your class. Pick your ideal teamcomp by class.

Ex: Bottom Marksman Bot - Marksman, Supp - Tank, Mid - Assassin, Top - Fighter, Jungle - Tank

You could do this for primary and secondary selections.

I believe this would help increase team synergy. It may make queue times a little longer, however, falling back to secondary or subbing out one position/class for another would be possibilities, like auto-fill.

It's far too often I see team's lose the game in champions select because they're not trying to synergize with their teammates/teamcomp or considering the enemy team's picks.

There's nothing being added to champ select here, its simply a better way to matchmake so you're not stick with Assassin Tryndamere Support and Mage Garen Mid.

I would literally choose to wait an hour in queue if it meant not having to argue with a bunch of assholes about who called what first in the broken-ass desynced chat.

Why are they calling their positions anyways? The game assigns you a position. You dont get to call it in chat in pre game lobby

You said arguing with people over who called what. How are they arguing over position calling if the game assigns you a position. Unless you are talking about blind pick

Team builder was an alternative to BP, yes. Draft still has position assignment.

Let me tell you something. League of legends. Can not be one of those fun games you can relax and play. Or even compete for that matter. When riot bothers to think what is the summoners general population and what that population does. Then it will ever see quality in there game. As of now, many good players loose games not do to lane what ever. It’s due to some one on their team having a bad game and feeding now there are 4 other players on that dues team. 2 competitive 2 extremes. 2 of them would try to advice the player, but wait oh what the 2 extremes already destroyed the players mentality the flame they threat etc, so what ends up happening? They loose, 2 players are close to getting baned and even perma. But the general lost is they all just lose a ranked game. And all of them get this annoying feeling of why is some one doing what or this in there games. This continues into an eventual CYCLE of people who are feeding in games then they become griefers and trolls and more bronzies remain. So in terms riot killed, their own games high looked up to competitive standard because they made a chain of what 30 people almost 2 or 1 in separate games gain a sensation of a bad game. Solo q died due to this, but it also died to a meta. Now anyone can do anything and crush the meta, it just depends on team work.
