As fun as the preseason looks, it doesn't look as fun as if Riot started punishing inting and afking

I am genuinely really excited for the preseason as a lot of it looks like a blast. Specifically, Summoner's Rift terraforming to match the dragon that's spawning looks like SO MUCH fun. But to be totally honest, I think what would be even more fun is if Riot started discouraging people in any way from inting and afking. I love the idea of the extra bushes and rocks places, but I think I would love even more if 20% of games weren't ruined by someone actively trying to ruin them without any sort of repercussion. I also really like the breakfast nook they're adding to lanes, but not as much as I think I'd like it if I knew when I was logging in that I wasn't going to have to play three games in a row with the same adc running it down repeatedly while building ap. All of the item changes are also definitely moving the game in the right direction, but I think we could move the game even further in that direction if we eliminated all of the ranked games where 9/10 players have no effect because someone on one team decided to int or afk. Just some food for thought as we gear up for season 10!

They don't care about people ruining the game experience, that isn't where they make money. Addicts and impulse purchases are where the fucks are given.

I deleted league, blocked all words about league or riot games on my pc. I will never see this company again, I will heal from my addiction. I don't give a .. about all the new games, I will never ever play a riot game. And this is my last post on forum as well. I was going to say that I hope riot fails but whatever I don't care anymore.

Good bye riot was good for 3 seasons after that was only a drug but I will stop using it. I am glad I did not spend a lot of money on this company, they do not deserve.

Go make shittty mobile games, go sell skins and make loot boxes as well, this is the only way you can make money because you are bad you do not know how to design a game, you just sell legal drugs.

I think it’s mostly this season’s (season 9) fault. With the match making flop and riot focusing on other games and tft a lot of people just stopped caring. Mostly due to the match making. Also riot has kind of accepted it as well

Doesn’t help that NA as a region is already considered the “for fun” region but now it really is since no one wants to play.

I am getting trolls already I cannot play this game. Is just impossible pre season is a disaster, people do what they want is so garbage is not even worth waste time. 1 simple fix for afk and trolls.

Bring back the tribunal. With chat and vods available. High honor players will be able to view those cases and according to what the majority of the players have chosen then the punishment will be applied. The excuse that there's no system to detect trolling doesn't apply anymore just ignoring the issues because riot can't find a way isn't a solution so as always let other people do your job riot.

U can reward players with be and end of season rewards like wards and icons or if that's too much effort for you don't even reward them cuz they'll do your job either way cuz we care about the environment of the game more than you do.

I reported a person for inting in 1 game, cause he/she was next game I que up, Same person I mean at least this time they didn't int but still I can't say I wasn't insecure the whole game

I play alot, 3 accounts this is the least played (only use it with low elo friends) almost never see afk, almost never see actual inting they are literally a non existent problem. The real problem is a busted elo system easily exploited to boost people and that does a crap job at gettin g people to the correct elo because the entire team gets the same reward and finally smurfing.

example joe blow silver gets lucky gets a few smurfs on his teams and over all better teams just cause luck, or has a friend who is diamond who boosted him. During those games the enemy team gets stomped real silver laner in top goes vs diamond top smurf gets crapped on you flame him because he "inted" (really didnt int just died alot because of yet another stupid lame ass on his "smurf".

Now joe blow is gold 1 but really is a silver 2 caliber player and proceeds to get stomped in mid lane by real gold 1 players and more smurfs his teammates flame him claiming he "inting" but really he is simply being stomped on by smurfs and has no busi8ness being in gold because he is boosted.

Its a revolving door that never ends and is the real problem. The best solution is to weight your individual performance in wins and losses to adjust them, so now you cant get boosted by your diamond friend who reks the game 20-1-12 every game boosting you while you sit on support going 1/7/14. Has NEVER EVER EVER made sense to have a individual ranking system that the gains and losses are based off your teams performance not your own performance.

Until they fix that the game will be a cesspool end of story and please save all the terrible illogical arguments about how your 0/12/4 support deserves the same elo gain as your 20-1-17 top laner when your team wins because there is no sensible basis to justify it, its just more lame "i like to get boosted" noise to keep a broken system in place that ruins the game.

The thing I don't understand is why they arnt punishing afks anymore. When I was leveling my original account I would leave games left and right because I didnt care about the game as much. I currently have like 5 accounts because I would get banned on my main account for 1-3-7-14 days.

Also I personally don't have issues with inters and afks, but I know people do. Is it a lower elo thing. Ive only been in gold and plat this season and I've had 0 afks and like 2 inters.

I wonder who has the worst W in game, and one of worst passive in game. Hmm. I wonder who was made unviable in competitive and highelo just so that she is playable in low elo hmm.

The game will probably feel the same for most players. Terrain changes are mostly jungle related. Laning phase almost no change.

Imo, one of worst and boring updates.

What about something similar to Cs:go where it’s tied to a phone number and you get to play with others who have linked their phone number. Or What about you only get to play ranked if you link your phone number or a tier system that resets every month where if you have 1-3 afk / reports you are one tier and only play vs similar ranked players. Also we would limit the reports a player could submit and you would really have to consider if that player was really inting. afk would be generated by system by time with no damage delt.
