I have a question about gankplank or rather Critplank. Good old season 1/2 build that gives us maximum critchance + running build.
Max critchance isn't something you should really push for on anyone but Yasou.
The way AD Carry damage works is this:
if you have 110 AD and get 110 AD, you just increased your DPS by 100%, from 110 to 220.
If you have 50% base AS and get 150% AS, you just increased your DPS by 100%, from 220 to 440.
If you grab 66.67% crit chance with IE, you just increased your DPS by 100%, from 440 to 880.
If you grab 50%+50 armor penetration, you just increased your DPS by 100%, assuming 100 armor foes, from the equivalent of 880 to 1760.
Alternatively: if you have 110 AD and get 110 AD, you increased your DPS by 100%, from 110 to 220.
If you grab another 110 AD, you increased your DPS by 50%, from 220 to 330.
If you grab another 110 AD, you increased your DPS by 33.33%, from 330 to 440.
If you grab another 110 AD, you increased your DPS by 25%, from 440 to 550.
My main point is pursuing 1 stat is sub-optimal for AA DPS, which is what a crit build is.
The most important thing about a critical strike build is your DPS, and the only thing that matters with DPS is what gives your the highest DPS.
Which is never going to be from pursuing 1 stat.
Parrrley also used AD, Crit, Armor Pen, and life steal: not just crit alone. There's too many stats to cover to justify maxing crit.
Runes 35% crit dmg + 50% extra crit dmg from Infinity = 285% crit dmg + sheen from trinity + parrley? = 1shot2kill
Crit damage runes are terrible. You get more damage out of an actual critical strike with AD or armor penetration runes in most scenarios, which is pretty sad. You also get way more DPS out AD, armor pen, or AS runes due to all of those working on things that aren't a critical hit.
Crit damage offers 20% more crit damage, which would take a 200% hit up to 220%: or 10% more damage on a crit, which has a DPS impact directly tied to how often you crit (so 0% more DPS with 0% crit chance).
Crit damage also stacks additively with Infinity Edge, taking a 250% hit up to a 270% hit, which is only an 8% increase in overall damage.
8% more is nifty once you get into 6 major items omg Nasus is 1-shotting and Vayne got a pentakill territory, but the average game just doesn't last that long. You'll get more damage out of any other rune choice. And on my first point again: pursuing max-crit is a sub-optimal idea, and you pretty much need to gain 100% crit chance for those to not be the worst.
Is this still viable to play?
What you're listing is pretty close to how GP's standard build is and has the same general spirit, but you're missing out on a ton of DPS, sustain, and general reliability with that full build for access to OHKO Parrrley, more or less from the last 2 items not really adding as much as they could.
You should probably also throw GA into a 5-major item build on every champion in the game. It's the best 5th slot item for essentially everyone.
