LCS/MSI ruining "casual" gameplay.

IMO, every time they pick something OFF-meta in the pro-scene. Riot seems to think that THAT specific champ needs a giant nerf, because "wow we cant have off meta picks here, shame on you"

THIS hits the "casual" scene. They do it every time. This time its gonna hit Nami, Aurelion Sol and Sona.. Their hatred for support champs and generally fun mage/supports, is getting abit laughable. Why have a pro-scene if you cant see your mains being played to their full potential (for example) and then Riot nerfs it to bits every time.

Why? You never see Sona win the game, you never see Nami win the game directly. You cant carry the game (nearly as good) like a AP midlaner, or the ADC.

So why the hatred for support champs? The supporters in this game is already having a bad time, why make it worse? This makes them resort to "support mages" which is code for "Im gonna jack every single kill in the botlane if i can" (i.e Brand, Annie, Zyra) and none of them ever builds a sightstone. And i dont even fault them, Support has clearly become not only the most boring, but the most hated position of them all.

So why trash support mains so much?

They want to make sure those champs stay as supports and not turn into mid/toplaners. In other words, they dont want a bunch of lulu types running around

Pro players give the best representation of what a champ can do when used to it's full potential, and that potential might be higher than intended. Balancing in any game is tough, and there will always be players who disagree. I disagree with most of the balancing in League, mainly when it causes a champion to not be able to fulfill their intended role, such as "tanks" being able to deal massive damage and/or not being tanky or having skills to support that role. Riot will do as they wish with their game though, players just have to enjoy the game and accept Riot's choices.

Riot specifically said we don't have to worry about supports being nerfed just for showing up at MSI.
