Snowballing should be something that is achieved

not given after someone gets one or two kills and there lane opposition can no longer fight them its become REALLY annoying to watch mid or adc snowball out of control because there now 2 kills ahead and can now harass there laner so hard that they cant even play the game any more why is it so easy to snowball now? whats the point of this? to me its not fun and its not entertaining often or not if im the one snowballing its boring because there is no competition the enemie team can not stop me and its like im playing against bots

I already have a weak early game on Katarina, any early solo kills I get ARE achieved, because I have a bad matchup against every single mid lane champ in the game besides Veigar and Velkoz, and anyone who picks one of those 2 into Katarina or without banning her deserves to get snowballed on imo.

If you can get early solo kills, you didn't have a bad matchup.

The thing about champs like Kat and Akali is that... they don't actually have a hard time against other mid laners. It's silly how people who play them like to say, "yeah man I'm fucking great because I can beat all these people with an advantage over me."

They don't have an advantage over you. Your champion has the tools to play around them. Whether or not you have a difficult time is up to how bad you are on Katarina.

Exactly, therefore, I have achieved those kills by practicing my champion and knowing the matchup better than my opponent... I don't understand, do you agree or disagree with me? Is being good at a champion now something to be looked down upon? Should we make this a turn-based game where rock beats scissors beats paper?

Most mid lane champions have the tools to punish Akali and Kat without putting in nearly as much effort as Akali and Kat do to achieve the same results, therefore they snowball very hard to reward good play.

Everyone has to be good on a champion. And you're being plain silly if you think the difference between difficulty of a highly-versatile champion and others is all that big. No characters in this game are as mechanically involved as even the most basic SoulCalibur characters.

But Kat has all the tools to beat most opponents. The only condition is that you realize you have them.

And worst of all, the item with the best gold efficiency of all first items is Gunblade. Without even counting the passives.

OP may be exaggerating for most champs, but Katarina is certainly one that gets way too much out of a tiny lead, because she can buy the most gold efficient item in the game.

True, but she's also punished much harder for simple mistakes, and making a comeback can sometimes take until 6 items, if it happens at all.

A behind Kat is a useless Kat, and Gunblade hardly qualifies as a powerspike if you don't get it until 20 mins.

GIVE ME A BREAK

There have never been more ridiculous comeback mechanics in the game than there are right now. It's already absurd how much free gold you get for a shutdown.

Opponent gets two kills, is able to keep you off the creep wave for a little while and gets 30 cs ahead, all you have to do is kill him once with your jungle and you're nearly back to even.

It's absolutely ridiculous... and you're complaining that snowballing is a problem. I can't even...

In my experience most players just don't know how to play safe. Look at how most laner smurfs play. They just sit there farming CS ignoring you until you attack them, then they kill you because that's where you start making mistakes. So maybe just cs and wait for a mistake, also don't put yourself out there unless you know you're safe.

As a JG I've seen so many people die to 1 gank, then cry about getting camped when the reality is they're getting camped only because the JG realized they don't know how to defend themselves or play safe and pegged them as the free kill.

Make yourself hard to gank and the JG will generally leave you alone. As a jungler, the worst thing you can do is try to help a lane when the lane opponent wont let you get a kill.

So are you saying you think early kills should give so little gold that they're meaningless? Because that's the only way such a thing could be achieved. And it would just make the game stall an extra ten minutes with no progress or rewarding.

not be meaningless, but i would like to see gold values for kills scale throughout the game....IE early game kills start at 150 gold, then scale by 100 every say....10 min

I see the point you're trying to argue:

  • If we reduce kill gold, then the person who died has more time to fight the enemy on equal footing, since that enemy won't come back with half an item.

But that'll just drag the game on.
