Morganna VS Yasuo

So Ive played against Yasuo Mid with a few different Mages now and it always seems to have the same result. Yas out lanes me and stays behind his minions so I cant start to fight him. Now in this particular game the Jungle was a Warwick who said he wouldn't gank till lvl 6, witch is cool. Most warwicks ive played with say that so I just played in my turrent until he got to lvl 6, then we killed him. His response however was WOW you suck at mid, you let him get 3x more minion kills than you.... Witch was true but I hadn't given him any kills so I thought I was doing allright.... Was there something I should have done different or was I just screwed because I couldn't get a gank till lvl 6? Any advice would be appreciated!

Morgana is actually good against yasuo, if he doesn't dodge your Q so you have to bait out the windwall or you will probably lose trades hard. Constantly spam W under him when he tries to farm and it becomes much easier. If he just plays insanely safe, don't try to force trades if they fail. Just focus on farming and as long as you keep up in farm you're fine. Him getting 3x more minions than you is basically the same as him killing you a couple times in terms of gold accumulation.

Morgana has a great matchup into Yasuo. I believe she is actually one of the few mages that is a hard counter against him.

You should max you E first and keep pooling casters. This will prevent him from shoving the wave to your tower and you should be able to keep up in CS because of it. Your CS should never be low with Morgana.

You should be shoving him under tower and black shield when you see a gank or he is trying to knock you up. Q him if you see an opportunity but do not Q him if you Black Shield is down.

Take teleport not ignite or barrier. Teleport to back to lane if you get low and need to back.

Your job is to just continuously shove him under his tower and to keep minions off your tower. That is it. It will stop him from roaming and he can't kill you without playing highly offensive (like tower diving you). You are pretty much ungankable because of black shield.

Build Zhonya's first item. And try to take his tower as quickly as possible.

Well yeah fighting Yasuo with any mage is not going to work. Unless there is an extreme skill difference, lol. Now him being 3x more minions kills than you by level 6 is pretty excessive. I'd have maxed pool and just threw it under the minions and walked away. Snare him if he dashes at you. Even if he gets a little harass off you have passive spell vamp so it you should have been fine.

When I'm up against a Yasuo, I don't pick a mage mid. I'll go either Pantheon or Irelia. Maybe Jax. GP might work too if you're good with him. Yasuo is a strange champ, because he's not really an assassin like he's suppose to be. He doesn't have the same risks that other assassin's have. He's more of a mobile bruiser, so you can only really fight him if you have another bruiser that just out bruises him. If that makes sense.
