Idea for ranked

I have had a bad experience with ranked games. I myself am not a bad player but, the way of how things go for me when I need to rely on four other people while most of the time not playing my desired role can make my ranking seem bad. I would like riot to change how their match making system works, If match making would match people together not only to make the teams "even" but also based on frequently played roles it would be more desirable to play ranked. This would also give a more accurate ranking for the individuals playing ranked. Another idea besides finding out what people want to play based on their recent champions/roles is to actually have a setting where people set and change their role when queing for ranked.
