The front page is currently flooded with people outpouring their support for Nubrac. You know what? The highest elo person I saw defending Nubrac was mid gold. Literally every single person who has actually played with Nubrac’s “strat” hates it. It is griefing, pure and simple. As LS pointed out on a tweet, by Nubrac’s own admission bot lane will lose hard early being 2v1, and bot lane is ALREADY the most fragile lane in the game early. Mid loses experience, which puts them at a level disadvantage, and the stats gained by levels are more important on mid landers than adc’s (so don’t even try to say it will be balanced out by the adc getting solo experience).

Nightblu is a dick, yeah, and he should also be banned for being a dick in game, but maybe people should take a step back from their “let’s hate NB3” circlejerk to realize that Nubrac’s griefing is just that, griefing.

Im a big fan of off meta myself, my view? Any off meta strategy is fine if everybody is onboard or if your not reliant on teammates having to 100% adjust their core gameplay patterns.

Clarification: I don’t bring up the ranks of people commenting in support of Nubrac to disparage them b/c of their rank. Rather, I mention it to point out the fact that none of these people have played with Nubrac. Everyone who has spoken out about him who HAS can’t stand it.

if the dude can consistently win in masters with it it ain't griefing, you can call it annoying, cheesy and shitty towards his team but it sure as hell ain't griefing. above gold elo boi defending nubrac whoever the fuck he is here :^)

You'd think 3 or 4 threads would be enough, seems like we're close to hitting a dozen of them, if we haven't already : X

Irelia isn't the standard midlaner, she isn't as level dependent as a mage.

TF suffers especially hard from losing CS as a decent amount of his power budget is his ability to get items quicker with his +gold passive and spreading that advantage to other lanes.

Taric Sona also don't really scale all that well with gold, so a gold lead from them over Sivir isn't too bad.

Nubrac should be more communicative though. Not sure what other streamers are saying, but in the 13 minute video that was posted about the situation he stated: "I don't notify my team that I'm doing this because I'll just get flamed."

Wait what happened to nubrac, lol i cant belive that guy still plays. i knew him on wow in cataclysm and his name was rifin, and we did alot of high end rbgs, he went to league and he was a teemo 1 trick all way to diamond lol. havnt seen him in years though.

He is a player its not his job to make the game enjoyable its his job to get as many wins as possible by what ever means he can. making the game enjoyable is riots job but they cant ban players for not following meta as they said themselves meta is not strictly enforced and is more of a low elo guideline. Why are people actually pretending 1.5 levels as a midlaner is actually relevant when you collect all your farm and enemy tower plates while denying enemy mids most of their farm because they cant waveclear without the gold to buy ap. (we ignoring the possible gold from kills because we assuming that like your bot laner they are playing safe. thing is bot lane is a longer lane and easier to gank adcs also have low cooldown high base damage spells that they can spam to help them farm for the most part like cait's q varus q and kaisa's q)
