you counterbuild with sustain to the point were you can just tank creepwaves.

if youre just looking for a counterpick, nasus destroys him. singed almost automatically pushes lane. means youre free to stand infront of your turret and stack. you can tank entire minion waves with 2 items and sustain yourself at the same time with your passive.

if the singed is actually dumb enough to proxy, you should sit there with 600 stacks at around 20 minutes.

banner of commands, all 5 team mates get this

it gives some defense stats, and can negate his ability to push/proxy/splitpush

it works surprisingly well

Darius A champion that can keep singed where he wants him to be Darius

Alternatively its a free farm lane for q max Nasus which makes for very secure scaling. In teamfights wither also seriously gates singed's ability to just run everywhere.

there is no mechanical counterplay there is only macro plays to counter him. because you know who need mechanical skill wheny ou can play Singed or Kayle or w/e

Meep Man3/19/2017, 8:41:36 AM1 votes

He has no range. At all. Not even a little.

Rylai's, frozen mallet, iceborn gauntlet, botrk, liandries, morellonomican, mortal reminder, not splitpushing alone as a squishy champion, hard cc, slows, edge of night/banshees, magic resist.

Yeah I can't see any counterplay.

Wave clear is the best counter. If you don't have that then sustain. If you can't build that then get a zzrot or banner. If you can't do any of those things then I don't know what champion you are playing.

And you should ignore the proxy. He is denying his other laners tons of gold/exp which will allow your laners to get a huge gold/cs advantage. Plus it means the lane is always pushed which allows for easy ganks by your jungler.

Aptest3/19/2017, 11:49:50 AM1 votes

the correct macro play is to ignore him. Preferably with a champion that benefits from not interacting with his lane opponent.

To deal with his lvl 1 proxy make sure you escort your minion wave to lane. If you move with the wave of minions he can't intercept it because he's going to have to deal with both a full minion wave as well as an enemy champion. Keep in mind throughout the game killing singed may not be realistic, you want to counteract his lane pressure and be more relevant in teamfights than him. If he can't get his team the objective gold from the two top turrets hes really not adding anything to his team and almost any other pick would have been stronger. He's one of the few top laners where patience is generally the key to beating him.

ignore him and try to win the other parts of the map.

the moment you bother with him you'll lose

I have never enjoyed playing against a singed. He lacks counterplay that isn't "buy incredible amounts of armor and MR so that neither he or the creeps can damage you". It's even worse when you are playing in a different lane and singed gets some items. Next thing you know he comes running down to kill you and there is nothing you can do about it except possibly flash over a wall.

Only Play Darius3/19/2017, 4:25:24 PM1 votes

His own stupidity. Most Singed players I see force proxies when it's absolutely inappropriate to do so and end up pretty much intentionally feeding while claiming that they are generating "pressure". Honestly why I can't stand having Singed on my team he needs a rework.

Also Darius for some reason works quite well against Singed

NGNL Asian3/19/2017, 4:46:44 PM1 votes

get zzR0t. It never hurts for someone like a adc/sup/tank to get tankier

Glîtchy3/19/2017, 4:54:17 PM1 votes

Step 1: pick Vladimir or Kayle

Step 2: Chip him from afar

Step 3: Profit

ltmetal3/19/2017, 6:35:01 PM1 votes

Singed absolutely hates slows, snares, and grievous wounds. Pick champions who can hamper movement and it will ruin his day.

option paralysis3/19/2017, 6:38:44 PM1 votes

It's cool in teamfights when he presses ghost+righteous glory+ult and has a GA. Fun times.

MissingKayo3/19/2017, 6:42:15 PM1 votes

Is this a fucking joke thread?

Electro5223/19/2017, 7:40:35 AM1 votes

I figured the best way to match him is with wave clear. Just pick someone that farms really well, and can handle themselves against the minion waves whenever he tries to proxy farm.

That's why I take Vlad into him, and easily win lane, despite rarely ever playing Vlad. I suspect that Gangplank could probably do it too.

Pandemic Punch3/19/2017, 7:42:55 AM1 votes

Champions with global pressure counter Singed's play style. Gangplank Shen Are wonderful picks. They just might have a hard time early if Singed is proxying at level 1 with no help from your team because you will have to either let your turret take damage or sustain vs waves of minions. Which takes me to my next point!

Champions who can easily sustain vs waves of minions make Singed's life difficult. These types of champions can roam the river, invade or ward enemy jungle, gank mid, eat the fruits in the river if you even need them, or just turn and kill singed with your jungler whenever your jungler is making his rounds to the top side. Champions who can self sustain vs minion waves without a turret have a lot of options. If you are a tank like Sion and your jungler won't help you stop Singed from proxying, then I recommend zz'Rot portal. Put it in the brush closest to Singed's tower. If he or his jungler does not respond to it, he will start losing turrets while you get to keep yours.

I hope I have given you some options that are useful to you. Good luck out there.

Comrade Napoleon3/19/2017, 7:54:45 AM1 votes

Play nasus, singed cant stop nasus from farming all game, it is really frustrating.

Lauchmelder3/19/2017, 8:20:33 AM1 votes

If he proxies your lane you get free farm (and all of it as your minions won't accidently kill some enemy minions).

If he proxies your lane AND midlane you get all the free farm on top while your midlaner gets an insane level and CS advantage over his lane enemy.

Basically: ignore his proxy.
