Everything is going well in NFLland until one day, a physically anomaly, Michael Vick, came out of nowhere (go along with it) and altered the course of NFL history (go along with it). Defenses now had to adjust to Michael Vick, and cornerbacks, even linemen became faster and quicker. Now that all defensive players are basically super human (thanks a lot mike), quarterbacks need to be very Mobile to avoid these defenders and successfully make play. Fast forward 10 year, and our quarterbacks are all becoming limp-armed speed demons who invent new play styles such as the "read option" that are overall cancerous for the game. Didn't we all love the old gunslingers, and the times when the running back led the team in rushing?

No seriously do I have to be more blatant the mobility creep is not good for the game and it will simply become harder to stop as more mobile champs are released

Yeah, because Scam Newton, the amazing athlete from Cow College is dominating the immobile defenders in Carolina every week.

Manning, Brady and Rodgers are gunslingers and they dominate the league. Vick isn't a player that we'll remember 50 years down the road, like we did Starr, Namath, Staubach, Bradshaw and more. Bad analogy, he didn't change the game at all. Also who are you trying to compare to Vick? Yasuo? Kalista? I don't get it at all.

Mobility is safe and easy to play, so it's gonna be preferred over immobile champions even if they do more damage. When I first started play League Miss Fortune was who I main'd so I have always been comfortable playing things that are immobile. Which is why I gained Jinx in ranked for my AD carry and Twisted Fate for my AP mid, but a lot of people who don't know how to properly position will fail when playing those champions.

Everyone complaining about the mobility creep needs to realize that the game has to evolve. Riot can make more complex and diverse kits now. Abilities are becoming more unique as opposed to years ago. Just look how derpy a lot of the champions looked. The games gonna evolve, you just have to evolve with it.
