Sterak's Gage didn't pop (bug?)

Some background information: Got into a draft normal game, picked Jax into Irelia since I believe its a good matchup for me. Froze on him for basically the entire laning phase and just killed him over and over when he tried to overextend.

If you watch the clip, I was in a 3v1 as Jax and I manage to kill two of them since I'm fed out of my mind. After recording the clip for bragging rights purposes I find out that my sterak's gage didn't even pop that entire fight. That made me curious and wanted to get answers. Does anyone have an explaination to why my sterak's gage didn't pop? Sorry for bad recording quality I don't have the best computer :(

EDIT: If you want proof that my gage didn't pop, you can see at the end that I open up the scoreboard and my gage isn't on cooldown (skarner's tabis were on cooldown so the scoreboard wasn't bugged either).
