[GAMEPLAY] Fizz ult not attaching and did 0 damage

FIRST TIME THE ISSUE IS APPEARING. ALL OTHER FIZZ ULTIMATES IN THE GAME ATTACHED PROPERLY AND DID DAMAGE.

What was happening:

Fizz throws shark.
3 people walk over the shark, Shaco (myself), Nidalee and Blitzcrank.
The fish does not attach to anyone of us, and we get out scoot free.
Blitz does not seem to be damaged by the fish, even though the edge just clipped him (he got knocked up)

I have no idea how to reproduce the issue. I am sorry. I can provide more evidence if need.

This is intended, when the ultimate reaches it's destination, it cannot attach to anybody, as you can see, the fish goes on it's belly, that means it cannot be picked up.

TL;DR: if you miss Fizz's ultimate, it stays belly up and you can walk over it.

What about the part where it did close to no damage to the Blitzcrank?

Also, clearly it should have attached to Blitzcrank since he was over it as the animation of the ultimate was casting.

The ultimate base damage and AP ratio depends on the distance travelled by the ult, if its a point blank ultimate like shown in the clip, it will do pretty much no damage.

The thing is that the ultimate did not miss. It was casted directly at Blitzcrank, however while it was travelling Blitz was not attached by the shark. I get what you mean that the shark basically tickles at close range, but why did it not attach?

The hitbox also grows in size as the ult travels, the hitbox of that shark was really small, blitz would have to be hit by the centre of it for that to attach. If you pay close attention, you can see the fish begins to belly flop before blitz is in the centre of the ult.

Not a bug. Intentional. Chum the Waters was changed to remove the "whiff seeker" as I'll call it. The fish trailing around after missing an ultimate was removed. If the ultimate is missed, the fish simply flops around before it expires and summons the shark.
