Suggestion to Graves' "Collateral Damage"
OK, I do not have a PBE account; so grain of salt.
From what I've seen on the Graves rework, I'm loving it. It makes me want to pick up ADC again just for his unique mechanics.
But 1 thing that does bug/irk me, is the new "Collateral Damage." I don't like that it's still a nuke, and it forces the player to reposition, effectively Self-CCing and probably doing more harm than good since Grave wants to be close and has a 425 range.
So my proposal.
Back last year Scarizard mentioned a sort of Armor Shred mechanic on a reddit thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1w2nws/proposed_graves_change_more_damage_to_closer/cey9i2j)
And I think it would be a lot better overall. If the first target hit gets armor "stripped" off of them, and the splash/cone damage can scale off how much armor was taken off the main target.
It kinda fits him thematically as a sort of in-your-face character, punishing engages and divers, while fitting up to it's name "Collateral Damage."
It would also really enforce proper positioning and waiting for the right moment to maximize it's effectiveness in teamfights.
Granted, this leaves him with a little less mobility, but with his new Passive, True Grit, and a dash, it might be a worthwhile trade.
