Season 5 has just made it even more obvious that solo queue is decided on the jungle.

It doesn't matter how good you are doing in lane, how hard you are outplaying the enemy laner, and how well you know to trade. Whoever's jungle ganks bot first will win dragon and once you start getting dragons, unless you throw incredibly hard, you usually can continue to get dragons. Close match up mid? One early gank will screw you over completely. The most important object is dragon, and who has the most control over said important objective? Junglers. It's simple up to hoping that your jungler has better map awareness and uses his resources better than the enemy jungle. Count how many times you've won when you're jungle fed incredibly hard, got 0 objectives and afk farmed? I appreciate that the jungle class is getting attention from riot but it's just too much of a deciding factor for solo queue.

I feel like junglers are irrelevant if 2+ lanes suck. It's painful. Oh mid died before I cleared my first buff. Oh top died before I cleared my second buff. Better gank bot... Oh wow our full health adc just sat under tower while the support and I fought their full health support and 1/3 health adc and look at that I just died and lost double buffs (literally happened last game I jungled, and it was a lv4 corki so he could have dashed in easily).

My last game, played adc. We took the first Dragon but doesn't matter when mid dies within 3 seconds of getting to Lane each time. You'd think she'd learn after the 10th death at least...

All roles have the power to lose the game.

This game doesn't have enough comeback mechanisms, therefore a single gank will screw you over.

Junglers have considerably less influence on the game than they did in season 4. Junglers can no longer stabilize games where 2+ lanes are getting stomped. Playing as jungler, that feeling where a laner feeds first blood before you get your second buff, it's worse now. Probably you can't fix it anymore.

However, "considerably less" is still "most in the game by a wide margin". They're still the wild card champion that can be anywhere and create action. Also, the jungle is now higher skill cap, which means more players will get it wrong. If you want to gain elo, get good at jungling.

actually its bot lane that determines the game. junglers can help, but bot lane is what decides it. so much diversity this season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! getting 1 shot by the enemy adc COUNTERPLAY BOYZZZ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i disagree completely

i just won a game where the enemy team had 4 dragons and my team had none. The reasoning we won being that we pushed harder then they did.

Ironically, most of the times we took out towers was when they were doing dragon

I dont see a problem with Jungle being a deciding factor, it's normal; that's why junglers exist, rather than having a 2-2-1 in lanes, you have a wildcard that has the ability to influence all lanes as well as control key objectives.

That doesn't come cheaply though and it isnt't a guaranteed success, countless times have I ganked a lane, only to have them feed at their next encounter without me, sometimes even completely losing lane. I think it's a mental thing; I help them, they get a kill and they think they're godlike, so they play overly aggressive.

Though did both two lanes lose by themselves or was there any enemy jungle presence? If they both lost by themselves then that's a rarity but I've seen it happen. The point being that while any role can lose the game, one role seems to be able to influence the game the most. It's been like this for awhile now. Season 4 it was because of dragon gold snowballing your team. Season 3 was because 4 man gank and push strat snowballed the game. Season 2 was whoever's team got rammus or amumu. All of these revolve around the jungler.
