Why Do Yasuo Players Not Group Up?

I see it mostly in low elo but it seems like Yasuo players get a lead and only want to chase kills and never push when they have an advantage.

Yasuo doesn't have the strongest team-fight potential. Even when ahead he would preferably split push and avoid direct team-fights because he has so many conditional abilities he can't consistently team-fight.

That isn't to say he's weak in team-fights, but rather he can't reliably use most of his kit in hectic situations. His dash needs enemies, his wind wall is purely defensive and cannot start fights, and his q needs to hit twice successfully for him to even attempt at a tornado. Even his ultimate can't be activated without a knockup. All of his abilities (with the exception of his wind wall which is a defensive ability) rely on things outside yasuo's control. Yasuo's team-fight strategy is to bum rush the back line and hope that they get knocked up by his q or a teammate. If it works he utterly decimates them, else yasuo is essentially running to his death and getting easily caught out.

Hense why yasuo's tend to split push instead of grouping.

As for chasing kills? That isn't a trait exclusive to Yasuo. Just ask Riven/lee/garen/Kled mains.

Why group as a team of 5v5 when the Yasuo player can 1v5

You spelled nasus wrong.

Cause Yasuo players don't like waiting around to do stuff. At least when they're farming lanes they can spam all their abilities.

Why? Because Yasuo, as a skirmisher, is better designed for team fighting than other skirmishers. He has an ult that synergizes with other basic abilities and ults, a defensive move that blocks attacks for team mates and himself, and access to a potentially quick and devastating aoe knock up. Given the amount of brain cells a normal LoL player has, of course we'd take this and never team fight with it.

secondly the smaller the fight the easy the win for yasuo as 5v5's he doesn't shine well unless he has team synergy. (AoE knockups) so a lot of yasuo's look to start smaller fights.

also a lot fo it comes down to the player

i personally hate to 5v5 early as it always comes out in favor on who had the better engage/disengage rather then gold or level lead.. so i use wave manipulation to force enemy carries into side lanes and either push mid REALLY fast or go in to assassinate the enemy carry.

Because like many melee carries if focused yasuo dies really fast, jax fiora and others have this same weakness and thats why they generally split push or try to come in toward the end of a fight when the enemy's CC abilities are on cooldown and clean up.

I see folks in this thread saying he has some good teamfights stuff in his kit, and yes windwall plus Q knockups can help his team out but windwall's CD is long enough that he's generally only gonna be able to use it once max twice in a teamfight, and his Q is conditional on hitting it twice before you can get the knockup and in a chaotic teamfight this isn't the easiest thing to do.
