Ending ranked Hour early?

Trying to get that final push to gold v after a busy week. Riot announces that ranked will go down at 1:30 pst (4:30 est) yet its down an hour early. How does this affect me? I was two games off Gold V. If I managed to get a win, and within an hour, i would be able to start the final game to determine whether i was gold v or not. But instead riot decided to push up the time restricting me and maybe others from the last two games. Kinda pisses me off a lot. Yea sure I could've done ranked earlier this year. But under what i thought, i would've had a chance to get to gold v just in time. SO once again thanks riot glad you could wait an hour :)

Riot has been pretty clear that even if you started ranked games before they were disabled, the stats stop recording for this season at 12:01 AM PST. So you wouldn't have been able to make it anyways. Here is the TL;DR post and here is the news article they released about it.

It sucks that you didn't make it to gold, but the deadline was always 12:01 AM. Hope you have better luck for the 2016 Season. :)

The TL;DR actually says that you can queue up prior to the deadline and the match would count if it ends after.

Yes, but from what I understand he was worried about not getting into games after the 12:01 AM deadline. Which sadly, wouldn't have worked if ranked was up or not. But you are right, if he started one at 11:59 PM, it would count towards the end of ranked season even if the game ended at 12:30 AM.
