Can we get an option to not be matched with premade groups?

I want an option, like a checkbox or something, that will prevent me from getting matched with a premade group of 4 other people where im the only random in the team, I have literally only had negative experiences when matched with premades

The match I was just forced to suffer through epitomizes this, I got mid in champ select and I chose brand, they were all trying to tell me to give their buddy brand as the support but I said no because I wanted to play him and hes my main.

Because I didn't give up brand my entire team absolutely refused to help me whatsoever while harassing me and shit talking me the entire game. I was pinging for help because my bot lane lost hard so the enemy team sent their support mid to make mid a 2v1 and I was constantly pinging and they refused to ever come mid and every time i died they said something like "brand main huh, if you were good you wouldn't be dying" all while "enemy missing" pinging me, insulting me, and saying they hated me as a person so why would they ever help me or listen to me. Even near the end of the game our nexus was open and the enemy yasuo and a bunch of super minions and stuff were coming in the base, I was pinging for help like crazy trying to hold everything off but they refused to try to stop anything, but the very second I died they rushed in and took down yasuo and the minions.

All because I didn't give up brand in the pre-game they made that game as much of a hell for me as they could.

I want the option to never be matched with a full premade, I dont mind a duo at all but the second im matched with a 4 man group I never have a good game because they always go toxic and refuse to help the random and instead only help eachother out.

I would love this option. I'm a support main, and I'm tired of getting ganged up on by a 3-4 person premade.

The reason they act big and bold is because they have 2-3 other people willing to cosign anything they do or say. It just creates a toxic situation more often than not and is a waste of time.

lol when the premades use numbers advantage, literally the worst thing anyone can experience in this game and that bullshit should honestly be banned from the server

Not gonna happen. Riot's way too afraid to damage that part of the playerbase. If such an option existed and a sizable number of solo-players decide to opt out, then the people that often play in a group have their queue lengths heightened.

You might of course have the opinion of "screw'em, I'm not having fun, and I'm just as much a customer as those people" but riot values people playing with their friends much, much more than a person playing solo.

A person who's playing in a premade most likely set up that group by pulling someone who probably doesn't even play (or want to play) league to begin with which means that, that person effectively is recruiting a new/skeptical player and increasing the playerbase count. Which means they are adding potentially monetizable customers to the game. It also makes it harder to lose a player since asking a friend to play with you forces them to commit time to playing the game to satisfy a friend. It's why riot literally forced dynamicQ for a year even though from the beginning everyone hated it (everyone being, literally every part of the player base including pro players) and collectively asked riot to remove it.

It sucks of course, for the individual player that riot caters to the business/investor/market side when it comes to game decisions like this, but it's the cold reality and decisions like this have been happening for years.

At best we can hope they do what dota did to premades and make it so if the premades are acting toxic, that reporting one member of the pre-made counts as a hit against all of them (which vastly discourages premade toxicity against non-group-members).

I remember a premade asking me if I'd give their friend mid, when I said no he banned my hovered champ and said "What about now?". People like this need to eat a uwu and be banned.

What we need for both ranked AND UNRANKED is a solo only queue, so that there are no premades on either team.

Stop maining though. No telling when you won't get to be your main, best to be equally ready for all the roles on multiple champs.

I always hated premades, not to sound toxic, but everytime i get some on my team, bad things happed... Terrible, unspeakble things...

If I see 3/4 people in the same club in my game, I just mute all and pray

More often than not it's gunna be them flaming and blaming me for anything that happens, even though I'm support, not sure how I was supposed to ward river for top lane

On a side note, it's also a scam about honor points. Yes, who cares, but... still it's not fair, even if premade people get less points honoring each other, they will basically never honor you nonetheless.

This sounds like negativity bias. I really doubt every 4 man premade you've played with decided to troll. You've probably had tons of them and didn't even realize. I've had moments where I'm in the 4-man premade, and the random just has this weird victim syndrome where they act as if we're ganging up on them when we just ping each other ingame without ever using the chat. This isn't just some delusion, they literally create conflict out of nowhere to make themselves look like a victim. I suggest not being a snowflake in this case.

I've stated MANY times over the years that pre made groups of one less then the team size should not be aloud as it is indeed always a horrid experience for the one random player.

For some reason however.... there seem to be a statistically impossible amount of players on this board who have EXACTLY 3 friends! And my comment was always down voted to oblivion.

I like OPs suggestion. Anything to avoid these extremely negative games!

I've been suggesting that since s4 Riot will not do that as group of players has higher priority over single one, I'am all about solo Q and I hate premades as they ruin MMR and game in general aside from insane coin flip % for int/flame probability.

yea. that about sums up my exp. with premade assholes as well. They feel entitled because theyre in a clan. SO they are always pricks

I would upvote but can't. The only place this is allowed is in norms. Flexi banned 4 man teams for this reason, solo/duo has no one over pairs. 4 man preamdes need to go somewhere to get reported 4x by one person, that means norms.

Anyway I pushe dhard for no 4 man premades, not allowed in ANY ranked mode is gonna have to do. Besides, ranked flexi is basically norms. I very rarely see anyone trying in ranked flexi. In fact, I see more tryhards in norms xD.

Ranked flexi is a buncha gold-plat players playing at silver level. You occasionally get one guy playing his main trying to act all hard, but generally it's pretty casual.

I even had one game where people started to flame eachother. I said "Everyone on our team is sub 25% win rate on champ, or playing a champ they never played before, don't act like any of you came here to win, get back to learning." The flaming instantly stopped, I think I was 2-9 that game and got 3 upvotes just for reminding them they weren't there to win. (oh, and we lost)

FULL AGREE!! I play top and in EVERY game i got PREMADE top+jungle! It is outlow! Why they play with FRIEND in discord and babysit me in EVERY game (or not babysit but CAN and i fear that - have to play def, while enemy top laner PUSH NON STOP and know that his friend will help). UNFAIR play SOLO vs PREMADES! I can wait about ONE HOUR my match but give to me SOLO players like ME!

Yes but I doubt Riot will change that, sound like a cash grab. More players meaning more money. Ugly truth ban me for all I care so I don't have to spend money on this game anymore c: feeling support toxic contents for people to be jerks. I even talked w a Riot member too. He/she was like "you still got a chance to win". Win first then I will all you do is positive talk . I'm so tired of getting gangbang by premade of 3 and up. Focus is easy, free talk is easy, ambush is free. "ONLY so much 1 person can do" so pre-made team is just straight toxic for solo queue player.

Wouldn't work for matchmaking I'd presume as it is quite a specific scenario.

I'm waiting for this option for so long now, I think it really starts with a Duo already they think because they have somebody to back them up they can do whatever they want and the rest of the Team often sides with them since they dont want the 2 reports from doubletrolls. Had a "supporter" that was premade with mid after he died twice in the first 5 minutes he went to play double-mid with his premade... the other 2 players in my team then went and flamed me together with the premades when I lost my lane 1 vs 2 against an enemy that alrdy had kills.

How is it I have a very downvoted comment in a very upvoted thread where I agreed with the op.

He/she asked to not be matched with premades, I said the same thing; he/she got upvoted and I got downvoted. Seems.... off...
