Older champions could use more voice lines

OK so there's a lot of champions due for full VGU's and even more that just need some visual upgrades, but honestly id be fine playing an ugly champion if they could say more than 5 lines the entire time you're playing.

I know that visual upgrades take a lot of money and time to implement and VGU's infinitely more so, but something you could do to... tide over players who main the older champs is just add some more voice lines, maybe referencing new lore, new characters, or just some basic sentences.

I know this wouldn't be free on your part riot but hiring some voice actors for a few days to record lines would do wonders to spice up some of the older characters that have almost no voice lines

I will add that any new Rammus voice lines should only be "OK" in various intensities.

some of them need V/O overhauls, their lore changed tremendously and now their voice lines don't make sense with their lore

I feel kinda jealous how new champions have like several jokes and even interact automatically with other champs. Like Aatrox.

I play ~~only ~~a fair amount of Shen and even his laugh is like barely recognizable.

Also Leblanc , she has an unrelated quote saying "Patience, Summoner", and no interactions with other champs whatsoever

I'm trying to remember any and all champions that they went back and redid vo for. I think they did it for lux and maybe Maokai? That's all I can think of.

We still have 4-5 champs who refer to summoners.

Malphite's should be more booming too.

Plus Nami could do with some that's not fish/water puns.

Like what they did with Lux, a lot of champions need more lines or new updated lines to reflect their new lore.

Like Viktor's lines don't match his lore at all.

alistar is played a lot and has gotten a VU and a small gameplay update and he still only has a whopping 10 quotes

Alistar is my prime canidate. Especially after he got a mini vgu yet he got no new lines nor interactions yet maokai got new lines and interactions after his mini vgu.

Veigar is a hard second.

theyre already doing this.

Lux had a bunch of new voice lines added some time ago for example. i dont know why they didnt do it recently though.

Ok... do people here think It's easy to just get the old voice actors and have them say some lines? Not all voice actors have that time or even want to return to a role... if they are even active still
