Damage in this game is getting out of hand, but I have an idea.

I propose a Global, Indiscriminate 10% damage nerf to all champions because damage is getting completely absurd.

Hell the tanks of today do the burst damage of assassins from a couple years ago, The damage creep in this game is getting disgusting, that's why you have so many issues with assassins getting away with more bruiser-oriented builds, because they don't even need to build damage items to do damage anymore because base damages are so inflated you'd think they were a 10k HP Zac. I don't know about you but a Rengar with 2 tank items who has over 4k HP should not be able to instakill squishies.

I think an overall damage nerf to everything will fix a lot of issues in the game right now. Tanks would be in a better spot because if everything did less damage they'd feel tanky again, assassins would be in a healthier spot because they would need damage items and wouldn't be able to get away with tank/bruiser builds while still 1 shotting squishies, and the game would feel more tactical again.

If you nerf everything exactly the same everything stays the same

It would lower all damage specifically, not all stats like HP and everything, just the damage

It would lower damage across the board and remove a lot of the damage creep this game has gotten over the years.

Yes if we nerved absolutely everything it would stay the same, but just nerfing all champion damage wont

And thats all i said is champion damage, all the items and stuff would be the same.

It would change nothing the champions that are currently strong will still remain strong.

I'm not saying let's make the strong champions weak, yes the best champions will stay the best, but damage overall will be lowered, that's the entire point and you're missing it.

if all damage was lowered the game would become more tactical again, you'll have that extra second in a teamfight to make an important decision, you might be able to survive long enough to retreat or for a teammate to save you.

I don't know about you but I for one don;t like the fact that all champions right now can all-in someone and kill them in under 3 seconds the very second they hit lv 6 with just their starter item, from full HP to dead. I've done that to people, others have done that to me. With base damage alone u can all in someone at full hp and kill them insanely fast, even on tanks. That doesn't tell you that damage is getting absurd right now?

What champions are you struggling to deal with and in what situations ?

Teamfights are tactical and duels have plenty of opportunity for skill expression.
