Pantheons: Aegis protection

So im no pantheon main but ive played him a fair amount to understand his weaknesses and strengths. And what i wanted to discuss was his passive Aegis protection.

Ive always found his passive kind of underrated compared to most other top laners. Darius gets a bleed and AD steroid, riven does bonus damage when using abilities, illaoi summons tentacles to bitchslap you into the rift. And pantheon gets....1 free auto/turret block?

I feel like this passive is very underpowered and you tend not to find much use for it. Yes every now and then you get lucky after that tower dive with it savibg you from the 1 turret shot that was needed to kill you but i feel like there could be more there.

This dude is a spartan, the artisian of war. I feel like he could have a better passive. Why not give him a passive that makes him take reduced physical damage sorta like kassadins passive to magic damage. I mean it is called Aegis of protection. It could be better so i pose the question to all who respond:

Should pantheon have a diffrent passive? If you yes say why and tell of ideas you may have for a new passive, if no then please explain why as i am interested in hearing.
