Xin nerfs

So I play xin a bit and I like him as a champion. Recently he had his E nerfed making it harder to catch people, but he gained a stupid amount of lifesteal and a menial crit. I'll admit that the lifesteal made him a little bit strong if you handled him incorrectly but did he really need to lose 20% attack speed? That's a lot of damn attack speed. You can take the lifesteal and the crit back if you want, but that attack speed fuckin hurts.

So I walk up to the enemy and press q. They are super mobile so they just dash away and laugh but I have my E. I use it to jump on them and slow them but I still can't knock them up with my q because even if they don't have another dash (they probably do) my attack speed is nerfed so I only get in 2 hits. I could chase them since they were at my blue buff, but my E cooldown was increased so I probably won't be able to use it again before they dash 3 more times and escape unharmed. Oh well.

Your tears are delicious, by the way.

"Nerf"

-Still has the damage. -Gets lifesteal on low health when not on his third attack with the remade mastery.

Freelo Xin is dead, long live Xin.

As a fellow xin player, from a point of view i agree that boards have exaggerated with the Xin pandemic, since he was not that strong and buffs did not make him that broken since he received many nerfs lately.

On the other hand i agree with those nerfs because that' s where i would have liked to see Xin nerfs the most, because i think that Xin' s W attack speed is wrong. Not bad, or powerful, or broken, but wrong. That attack speed denied a big part of Q counterplay without the need of any itemization, and there is basically no better scenario in which you should use W if not to proc the knockup. This was later on balanced around by nerfing movement speed and slows, but is not by itself a great thing.

I do think that Xin' s W should receive some kind of rework, even light, to address this issue. For the time being, an attack speed reduction can suffice i guess. I like far far less however the AP scaling nerfs, because that made AP on xin interesting.
