im not going to lie.. there have been some VAST improvements.
replay system, new draft pick with picking roles, 5 man bans. i could go on.
but at the same time, even if the client itself is vastly improving. balance is itself getting much worse... matchmaking is almost as bad, damage creep is seemingly past the point of no return, and for the first time i can remember a new champion 
also has a completely toxic design... i mean sure there has been others..

but those are OLD ones.. i haven't seen a toxic NEW champion since i starting playing in season 3.
in fact if you exclude the balance team... every other team is riot has been doing a fantastic job.
and yeah, it is true that it is really hard for us playing league to see anything from imbalance on the balance team.
but there are a few things that still piss me off because i see the EXACT same mistake them OVER and OVER, because they REFUSE stop doing it. and that is
REVERTS.
IF YOU BREAK SOMETHING, GO BACK!!!
REVERT IT AND DO MORE TESTING.
DO NOT LEAVE IT LIVE
i have seen this SOO many causes it aggravates me to no end. YOU HAVE AN UNDO BUTTON!!! just go back!!!

you walk up.. your w the wave... you walk back under tower... there is ZERO interaction ... its not fun..
in fact its actually REALLY strong
any melee opponent cant even farm because you W their minions and they cant walk into it, they cant gank you because of your spellshield/. and they cant dive you because of your root.
its actually TOXIC to have to deal with in a solo lane, unless you just want to farm for lane game. (which of course doesn't even exist anymore)
another thing you do
is you make sweeping changes that might be good for 8 out of ten champs... but its guts a 9th and it makes a 10th horrendously OP.. yet you ignore those two.
i love this game... i have been playing it for 5 years now, but through all this.. though all the improvement i see in the client.. in the lore, i see the game balance go to hell.
one last thing i want to point out before i end this..
if you are looking to buff a champion... look what you previously removed...
with overall games balance there are times where you made sweeping changes and you need to nerf a champion. and yes that had to be done.
but when the time comes that that champion needs a buff. ther FIRST area you should look is to GIVE THEM BACK WHAT YOU TOOK!!!
i have seen this many times. someone gets nerfed.. regardless if it was needed or not. when the time comes they need a buff. you want to make their mains happy? GIVE THEM BACK WHAT YOU TOOK!!
when i saw nidalee buffs i was like "yeah its about damn time" but i was also like.. WHY THE HELL ARE YOU BUFFING THAT? THAT IS GOING GOING TO INCREASE HER SKILL GAP BETWEEN LOWER AND HIGHER ELO.
and for the love of god... don't try to "fix" what isn't broken
and finally.. why are the boards blue all of a sudden?
