So...why can't Vi's ultimate be interrupted?...

I was playing Sion, I ulted across the map and surprisingly caught Vi as she was ulting my team mate but it didn't do any effect (of course) so Vi managed to ult her way across to my team mate.

I was wondering why Riot made her unstoppable as she ults compared to Shyvana (a dragon).

Shyvana has to aim her way through BUT risk the chance of being interrupted as she takes off, why is a dragon capable to be interrupted compared to a human?

I mean..it's a point a click with a decent range/cool down

The cooldown is bad. I know people who run CDR blues just because of that. If it were interruptable, she wouldn't do much of anything in proper teamfights. If she can't dive the enemy carry/carries without being interrupted, that just makes her a subpar fighter who dies fairly quickly or else a tank that's directly inferior to some others.

Because otherwise she's be absolutely useless in any teamfight at all?

Youre complaining about an uninterruptable ult when you were playing Sion...

I'm not complaining. This isn't a hate thread nor a pls nerf vi thread, I'm simply asking Why Vi was made this way, by now most people misjudged this thread as a pls nerf vi. I can care less, its all teenagers here anyways lol

It actually CAN be interrupted. You see, there is actually counterplay to point-and-click abilities (I know, right?). Just become untargetable, and her ability stops and immediately goes on cooldown. Zhonyas, Master Yi's alpha strike, etc.
