I am not sure how to get out of silver..... any advice?

So I started playing league around season 4 and quit season 6. I was okay back then, but I played a whole lot and was decent. Now I started back up again and its been about 3 or 4 months since I started playing again. Here is my problem, no I can't carry the whole team usually and no, I am not saying I should be diamond. Plat, maybe at the highest. Use to think I was good, now I don't even know anymore. Just seems like either you carry the whole team or you get lucky once in a blue moon and you get carried. Also, I see people doing so many mistakes, Like, standing in the blue in the enemy jungle waiting to get kill. And oh man do silvers love chasing. Maybe someone can watch me play and tell me what I am doing wrong? I main jungle and support. Anything helps, Thank you. As i Said, I know im bad, just not silver bad.

I am not sure what the last part means or even why its here lol. Anyways, you say I can't get out then I shouldn't get out but how can I play for so long and not get any better? You don't just play something for so long and not get any better..

People tend to report anything that might be considered negative perspective on silvers, and mods tend to ban for it without reading context. The mere mention of silver is almost asking to get banned.

I didn't say that; I said you're stuck in silver because you're silver.

You gotta actively try to get better. A lot of people are stuck in silver because they don't think when they play. They go on autopilot and don't learn anything from games.

You don't just play something for so long and not get any better..

There's a certain point at which improvement requires deliberate thought. That point tends to be a bit above average skill level. So silver 1.

It's good to occasionally stop and think, "what are my options here? what is my goal when i (do thing)? what do i think will be the outcomes of these options?"

It is incredibly easy. Very hard to lose in bronze and silver.

trust me. on another game i play it was a pain in the ass to get to Gladiator (lvl 4) and after i did i stopped right there. did not do anymore ranked games. you just need to learn when to push and when to stop.

This advice not everyone willing to take, make a new account, i was just like you hard stuck in gold 5 with tanked mmr all i did was make a new account and climbed with ease, some people don't want to give up their accounts but you have very bad win rate i'm not sure your account can be saved.

My recommendation is playing some of the really vanilla champions in whatever role you play Garen Annie Amumu as examples

These champions have lower micro mechanical expectations so you can use your game time learning fundememtal game stuff like wave management and map awareness (it's more then just looking at your mini map)

Also dont really stress about wins and losses, if ur teams doing something stupid then they'll die, if you're doing the right thing then you won't die. It's not about winning and losing game to game- it's about getting good at the game, winning is a byproduct of that

I find that I win more games if I go in relaxed and alert. Its dorky but I tend to take deep breaths, count to 10 and set some music on in the background to hype myself up. I have ranked anxiety that can sometimes lead me to getting frustrated or tilted so I try to go in with a neutral to positive mindset. I also mute everyone. Everyone. League is a team game but sometimes the team can bring your moral down. Try to stay positive in the chat and if you're doing well, try and figure out how you can extend that lead to your teammates. This is easiest if you're jungle or mid but support can do it decently as well.

You have to know how to end games in silver, leads are thrown back and forth almost every game in silver. Easiest way to do this is to either play a split push top or a very teamfight dominant champion.

Also this means you'll likely need to ping objectives like a madman to stop your teammates from wandering around like headless chicken.
