Small Evelynn rework fixes that'd make her more enjoyable
(If this should be in creations and concepts, please move it)
Before the rework, I played alot of Evelynn. This was mostly because she had so many builds that just worked, and her kit allowed you to try new things all the time. For off-meta players like me, Evelynn was the perfect champion, as many of her off-meta builds were not only interesting, but also fairly good. I can think of 4 (semi-)viable builds Evelynn had before the rework. Since the rework she only has one. Here's the list sorted by how strong/empowering they were and felt. After that I'll give a list of possible fixes:
-
AD Evelynn Some might argue AP Evelynn was better, but it really depends on your playstyle. For me AD Evelynn felt stronger, as it had a tadbit more sustain and burst, while losing some dps. Ad Evelynn played mostly the same as AP Evelynn: first you run upt o someone with w hilst spamming q, then you e them and continue spamming q and basic attacks untill either they die or you are in danger. If you have ult you can use that too. There were two main factors in Evelynn's kit that made AD Evelynn work: her dual scalings and the double on-hit proc on her e. The attack speed your e gave you didn't do much, though it helped when attacking turrets. Her e was mostly good because of Ravenous Hydra, which allowed her to deal some damage and heal up alot when pressing e. The Evelynn rework lacks both the dual scaling and the double on-hit proc, making AD Evelynn almost completely useless. In all honesty I don't mind AD Evelynn not existing anymore, as it played and felt mostly the same as AP Evelynn.

AP Evelynn This build plays the same as described above, and is still viable.

Tank Evelynn My personal favourite, tank Evelynn is all about proccing that Titanic Hydra. You just build tank items and a Hydra. It felt amazing to play: you were not only tanky, but also somewhat bursty. Sure, you could no longer kill adcs in one hit, but the same was also true the other way around. You really do get tanky, especially with the ult shield, whilst not losing out on that ominous presence you get with your passive. This bould relied heavily on Evelynn's double on-hit proc on her e, as well as getting some use from the ult shield. The ult shield got replacement in the form of passive healing and an escape, but not having the double proc makes tank Evelynn just not viable since the rework.

Support Evelynn Before you start spamming that this is a troll build, let me explain: Support Evelynn is probably not the best support pick, but it is certainly not the worst. She plays similarly to Lux, Brand, or Annie supp: you kill the enemy adc constantly in the laning phase, so your adc can freefarm, with the added bonus of SHaco-like mindgames using your passive. Once out of the laning phase, however, her playstyle differs drasticly from the other supports I just mentioned. Where for instance Lux would continue building damage whilst peeling with her q, Evelynn buys Zeke's Harbringer and uses her q to buff her adc almost constantly. After that you go a similar build as tank Evelynn, except for more utility (Knight's vow, Locket of the Iron Solari, that sort of thing). It was a very unique playstyle: you had the tankiness of a tank support, and the buffs of a healer. This build didn't get ruined by the Evelynn rework; it got ruiend when Zeke's Harbringer was removed from the game.

AD Evelynn As I said, this build really wasn't that interesting, but regardless here is a way to bring it back; return dual scaling to her q, reduce the base %hp dmg of her e, and return double proc on her e. If this would be too much of a nerf to AP Evelynn, increase the ap scalings on her e.
-
AP Evelynn As I said, this is still viable.
-
Tank Evelynn Make her passive cap also scale with max health, and do the same thing to her e as I meantioned in 1).

Support Evelynn this one is very simple. Revert the Zeke's rework. I mean seriously, what prupose does the current zeke's serve? The only support with a really short ult cooldown is Karma, and she doesn't go in. The only engage champ with a really short ult cooldown is Udyr, and do you really want to encourage Udyr support?
Also just in general the new Evelynn feels too early game focussed compared to the old one. This is really easy to fix; increase scalings, reduce base damage.
