Active: Nasus ages the target enemy champion, Slowing them by 35%,

increasing over -->(5 seconds,)<--- Additional Slow Per Second: 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 / 15%

False Alarm people. OP doesn't know what " Permanent" means

False alarm nothing to see here.

Except that with 40% CDR and an Iceborn Gauntlet he could possibly keep a near 100% slow uptime on the target.

So Late Game Nasus is a Threat if he can close the distance.

I'm pretty sure that is intended though

'if he can close the distance'

'if'

Unless you're running 3-4x hard CC, he can close the distance, and that's without Ghost or Flash. There's too much MS itemization in the game that's easily accessible to him.

3-4 hard cc. Maybe 2.
List all this MS item that he builds other than boots

Trinity Force + Deadman's Plate + Zz'rot give him about 515 movement speed. With standard CDR runes + Trinity Force, he can keep Wither up 75% of the time.

The new Steraks is also broken as fuck on him. If he has an elixir and Steraks procs, he ends up with about 71% CC reduction, meaning a 2 second snare is going to last 0.6 seconds.

He's building his intended items
Also Deadman's plate has built in Counterplay. If this is late game I'm not seeing a problem since he is supposed to be a Late game Champion

The cc reduction only stacks with Merc treads iirc. And that's an intended window of power to prevent chain CCing Seeing how you usually only take the damage to proc it when you get disabled in a Team fight . Since we are talking Late game with two teams fighting it out I don't see the problem with Nasus Fulfilling his Power Fantasy of being a Juggernaut.

I don't think you know what permanent means

I've read that whole sub-thread, and...

If your point is that Nasus isn't over-powered, yeah, sure. Of course Nasus rightfully deserve to be strong in late game. But that's not what OP was complaining about.

But mate, no need to be condescending with OP, when they're asking a legit question. And especially no need to be condescending when your facts are wrong/irrelevant. OP claims that Nasus can perma-slow, and nothing in your post proves otherwise, and Nasus can indeed have a slow up-time of 90+% with Wither. If you add any other source of slow, like Deadman or Iceborn Gauntlet, he can actually slow permanently. So don't be an ass.

His complaint about not being able to kite Nasus was presented in a vacuum so to answer his question more accurately. Teamwork, picking a mobile ADC, and Making sure he has a terrible early game

Rush slow item and swift boots.

DeathBurst2 votes

Agreed with GripaAviara, your best bet is Swiftness Boots. You're still slowed, but much less, and you have a chance of kiting him. Depending on what you play yourself, you can also build your own slows to compensate his.

You wait 9 days until Pre-Season hits.

Death by Glamour2 votes

Because thatbwill change anything?

They are just going to cause an mess with runes

Shuyin1782 votes

Yeah, but Stormraiders won't exist and Phase Rush won't be viable on Nasus.

Which is what this thread is about, Stormraider Nasus

DeathBurst1 votes

Phase Rush is totally viable on Nasus. Pretty much any of Nasus's Combo can proc Phase Rush:

  • aa+Q+aa
  • aa+E+Q
  • R+E+Q (after 1 tick of the R DoT)
  • etc.

I was hoping to be able to go more into the tank tree, but I think Sorcery will be Nasus's go to primary rune setup.

With Resolve as minor taking Demolition and Overgrowth.

DeathBurst1 votes

Yeah, I was thinking about the same thing for Garen. Still, I think Resolve Primary with a splash in Sorcery for Celerity (+4% MS) is also viable.

For Nasus specifically (not Garen), Escape Velocity in Inspiration might also work.

Some champions are screwed others are not.

A good Vayne can still kite the shit out of a Stormraider, Withering Nasus.

I main Nasus and it has been done plenty of times to me.
