I'm wondering about this because if it's true, I could probably just plop down my Spirit Fire on her, ignore her and keep stacking my Q, instead of going in to fight her to further reduce my spirit's duration, once it's pulled by her E.
I'm not sure about DoTs, and by extension, Spirit fire. On paper it looks like it should. This needs to be tested.
You can ignore her anyway. You can outheal the damage she does to you through your spirit as long as you avoid tentacles.
But yes, Spirit Fire counts.

Just to point it out, Spirit Fire is not actually a DoT. But either way, something like Malefic Visions will also count.
