i mainly main katarina and zed in mid lane, but they usually get banned, so i was wondering if yasuo is liable mid laner. i am half way through lvl 29, so i want to get ready for ranked.

Yeah he is, very much so. His shield is amazing for mitigating harass, his wind wall can block a lot of skills, and he's very strong.

Btw, I recommend playing at least 250-500 normal draft games before playing ranked, knowing how to play 2-3 champions in each role, and having proper runes for each. A lot of players play ranked right when they reach level 30 and end up in bronze because they weren't prepared.

Funny, I think you meant "viable," not "liable," although some would probably claim that "liable" is closer to correct :)

Statistically, Yasuo is a bit underpowered, with a winrate around 46%. I've also heard that pro players believe that his nerfs (which came mid-season 4) make him almost unplayable at that level, although you'll still see him picked some. He still has a lot of potential and offers good benefit for skillful play, though, so if you enjoy him feel free to pick him up, he's not unplayable. I should add that despite the fact that he is probably underpowered, he still gets banned at a fair clip (a bit under 20% overall in ranked solo), so that should possibly be considered as well. (Some people just remember the days of his brokenness.)

Yasuo is in the Fizz/Diana/Talon club

They are super OP....................... but only if you know 110% EXACTLY what you are doing
