Why does Tobias Fate buy a Spelltheif's Edge during mid game?
Something I saw during some of his streams, why would he buy a support item in the middle of a game when he isn't a support?

I was honestly wondering the same thing. Saw someone replicate it in one of my soloQ games. I assume it's a combination of the gold per 10, the on hit gold, and the mana regen for 350g, GP uses all of these fairly well. It will pay for itself fairly quickly I guess. I still don't personally buy it, but Tobias is a far better GP than I'll ever be so what do I know?
Was he facing a fed Evellyn? Because dem ghosts really help moving around when you do.
Ow wait, just the component items, not the whole thing. Yeah, it's like buying a dorans midgame for the mana regen I guess, but one that pays for itself.
