Just an open discussion on what everyone thinks about the carry support meta.

I have mix feelings about it, good and bad. I love seeing it on my team, but hate seeing it against my team. Pretty much if you have a carry support and the other team doesnt, its almost certain for your team to win. At least your chances sky rocket. or visa versa. The only counter i really see to counter it are leona or Naut, but they are constantly banned out. the rest just dont seem to have enough lock down to hold the pyke at bay, or get to the senna or AP Sona, ect.

I feel like it's been for ever since the support game has really changed and its only gotten easier for other carries like Brand and even Yasuo's to become support carries from the insane gold sustain items. I feel if they limited gold income support items to champions LISTED as support, it would drastically change the meta. As a top laner, i feel like it has become even more of an island than it ever has been before, an i have played since season 2. I took a 5 year leave due to work and other issues, but its a barren wasteland now after coming back due to all the action bot.

The gold income only works until the item gets 1000 then you need to farm like everyone else. The action is only all bot now cuz of the dragons. Nearly every game you bet your ass theres gonna be 4-5 people from one team in bot lane to kill the poor two laners just to get the dragons. EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. Is just a one-sided aram bot lane. Really thinking about going back to a support main just to play Janna for the extream peel cuz of all the dives ganks and TPs happening now.

We're still in an engage support meta, with some enchanters being ok right now. Carry supports are still pretty weak.
