Is it just me that hates ranked this season?

Pre season 6 I finished in silver 2. I've been playing since season 2, and honestly never really cared about ranked. Then a few of my friends started playing ranked so I decided to try it out. The seriousness at first was not fun, but I began to really like the fact that if you push your hard and play smart and be more self aware, you would notice that you'd start to climb. I also noticed I got placed mostly with golds and low plat players.

I enjoyed ranked every now and then, but then season 6 came and the new meta was very very difficult for me to adapt to. This of course caused me play more to try to keep climbing. But because the champs I played got nerfed I was staying in silver 2; however, once I did adapt and I found champs I like that would be good in this meta, I began to lose. More often then I was, and I noticed I was almost exclusively being paired with mostly bronze players.

I've had games where I've gotten S grades with zed, we lost 10 kills to 40 and I was only two of those 40 deaths. I got demoted for that game. Before when I lost a game at 0 lp it would warn me that I may get demoted, not demote on my first loss at that level.

So is it just me or is this season the worst ranked season for anyone else?
