Idea For An Improved Promos System
Backstory I'm currently in my promos to Platinum 2 for the third time after getting demoted from Plat 2. I started the season at Silver 3 and ended up dropping to Silver 5 then climbed to Gold and festered there for over 300-400 games(AFK's In Promos FTW). Then finally I get to Platinum which by far is the most toxic and annoying ELO I have ever been in. People actually give up just because the score is 0 to 5, people don't care if it's your promos and people are most of all TOXIC. I have a 53% Win rate with 644 games in Ranked (344 Wins to 300 Losses) and I can't count how many of my 644 games have been repeating promos over and over again because of a troll or an afk.
Read This For Actual Idea I propose that for anyone who has completed their promos before, if they happen to be demoted are allowed 5 chances instead of the standard 3 for their promos. This means that since I was Plat 2 before that I would be given a 5 game promos series like for tier series(Gold 1 to Plat 5) instead of the division series(Gold 3 to Gold 4) standard 3 games. This would remove a lot of the frustration of having a troll or afk or even just a series of unlucky games stop you from getting back into your division. Because currently it's truly too much based on luck and not enough on a proper 5 v 5 game.
