Will Kassadin receive a rework in the future?

Just saw the spotlight of some HOTS character called Alarak that looks like Kassadin. Will we get some something with such dynamic playstyle? Kassadin now is one of the most boring assasins with point and click burst and playstyle based on being a coward/ going in only to finish targets.
