Deaths Dance + Adaptive helm, do the passives "synergize"... however weak.

I am referring to deaths dance passive that turns something like 30% of all dmg taken as a bleed effect. Adaptive helm reduces repeated magic dmg by 20%. Does this mean the combo would reduce 6% of all magic dmg then? Yeah its a silly thing to ponder due to how small the benefit is, just think it would be interesting.

P.S. Imagine if there were item combos that worked like that but had more significant numbers.
