the fact that he can consistently go 0/5 in lane and still carry the game should be an indication that something has gone wrong... I'm not sure what they can do to change him, but I really don't think he should be allowed to be tanky to the point of being unkillable while at the same time being able to heal to such a degree and output the amount of damage he does. The moment he gets an assist or a kill, he basically becomes a tanky katarina. Dunno what should go, but something has to go.

Darius has always been the scrubdunking motherfucker he is.

I would be fine with having his heal gone aslong as he had the channel/charge/delay from his Q removed aswell.

But then we would go back to the Old Darius, which can't be tweaked without making him either Trash or Broken, without any counterplay in his kit other than "don't get close"

I love that Darius btw.

His heal is fine. Imagine the following two scenarios:

Darius builds tank: You shouldn't be focusing Darius because he is a tank. His heal only mitigates aoe dmg hitting him in this situation. Not OP considering he has no steroids to boost his defense. But he gets 5 stacks and tons of AD from it you say...yeah it's called peel at that point.

Darius builds damage: You should kite/focus him down cause he is squishy as heck. But his heal is so OP you say... Grievous wounds/Ignite. Congratulations his 36% heal is now 18% of very little because he build damage. CC counters him hard now.

Now if your complaining about his heal in laning phase: His Q is SO easy to dodge and has a long cd. Dodge his Q and then punish him for missing it. Congratulations you just won lane and you know how to shut him down in a teamfight.

I don't see the problem here.

What kind of losers downvoted this? L2p

If you can't play any other champiom but Darius you're a bad player and deserve to lose.

Don't fucking downvote because you want your favourite champ to be OP, its a joke and we all know it, hes banned like 90% of the time, and we all know its for good reason.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves, learn some empathy for other people, you arn't the only person that plays.

EDIT: IF YOU HAVE A CHAMPION THAT CAN HEAL 1800 HP INSTANTLY WHO ISN'T A HEALER SUPPORT END GAME AND DO OMEGA DMG WITH NO LIFESTEAL/DMG ITEMS THATS OP!

GET A FUCKING GRIP!

Only Play Darius9/24/2015, 9:06:51 AM1 votes

No. That's the biggest improvement that came from the rework.

Old Darius was unplayable against anyone with half a brain. Either he built damage and his immobile ass got melted before he could reach a prime target, or he built tank and became a wet-noodle meatshield with shitty cc.

Giving him the means to survive extended lengths of time on the frontline has made him better to play and also made his teammates hate him less for being useless outside of lane.

nope, he actually needs that. I'd rather have it capped.

First of all let me strongly say, I am not an amazing LoL player. Keeping this in mind, from not just a stand point of playing Darius but also playing against him, he can be shutdown fairly easily. If he snowballs, like any other snowball champion, he seems so overpowered that the "only" reason is the champion must be OP, not: I was playing against him and lost, or, my team couldn't pull together and shut him down so we got out-played. When people gank him are they thinking that they will have to deal with a potential extra 24% of his max health assuming he lands his q on both the top laner and the jungler? When I see Darius winning a 1v2 it's because the 2 made a mistake and got out played, not, the 2 were good and got out-played. Good players would judge the situation, estimate dmg output, take into account potential dmg mitigation, position of enemy champions, etc. If everything is in their favor, they go for it and get a kill if not, they can try to swing things in their favor first then comeback and reevaluate. A lot of players don't know how much actual raw damage they can deal at any given time. Nor can they look at someone's resistances and then take into account dmg reduction and recalculate that number into approximate actual damage. People that can naturally perform better because they know what they can and cannot do. People that cannot do this rely on a VERY rough estimate and luck, or the OVERUSE of cc to compensate.

Maybe take a break from mid for a while and play some top normals as Darius to get a feel for him. At the very least after playing him a while you can get a good handle on how he works exactly and can identify his weaknesses and can more easily see mistakes other Dariuss make after making them yourself, and how to punish those mistakes. At the very least you can bring that knowledge into your games and pass it along to your top laner/team to help them out. :3
