(bug?) Gnar and Guardian Angel

I am here to bring up a question with regard to Gnar and the revive effect from guardian angel especially pertaining to Mega Gnar. As GA is a staple item of my Gnar build I have noticed that if you die in Mega Gnar with GA up you will always revive as Mini Gnar no matter how full your rage bar is upon death.

Typically I would let this slide. This time though I am unable to.

Upon taking lethal damage, restores 30% of maximum Health and Mana after 4 seconds of stasis (300 second cooldown).

That is Guardian Angel's passive. What is bothering me most is the final word that is not in parenthesis, Stasis. Guardian Angel places you in stasis upon taking lethal damage. Stasis to me means that you preserve the state in which you would normally die and come back with 30% health and mana/resources. So why does Mega Gnar change back to Mini Gnar?

I seriously hope this doesn't happen simply because the Mega Gnar death animation turns you back to Mini Gnar...

That does feel like something that should restore Mega Gnar to Mega Gnar if it activates. I personally think that there's no reason Riot shouldn't address this and change it.

I admit though, since my breadth of champions isn't too impressive and I don't buy GA too much, I'm not sure exactly whether this mechanic would prove consistent. If this mechanic is the same for champs like Quinn, Jayce, Nidalee, Elise, and any other champs that have form manipulation, then I'd say making things consistent is a high priority, and that if this were to be changed it'd need to be handled the same way on these champs. Then there are also some fancy bugs that could pop up from this as well. It's possible for Quinn to stay in Valor form, however I'm sure that this is a bug. Unlike with Gnar though, Quinn can cast her R any time after getting stuck and convert back. If something similar were to happen with Gnar, him stuck in Mega Gnar form has no way out and you're forced to stay in his mega form (unless death reverts him).
