Good, someone shouldn't win just for existing in the game, the passive needed to be nerfed as seen by this. But now Riot should compensate with something else... Although honestly I already hate each of Zilean's abilities already. His bomb just does way too much damage for a targeted ability that is pretty easy to cast, his ms buff/slow makes him extremely hard to kill/run away from, and his cdr thing just makes those two worse. His ult is also annoying for obvious reasons.

Zilean needs a rework with more interactions with the enemy. Right now, all he has are auto-attacks, a slow, and bombs. Even Sona has more interactions because of her passive. Zilean is just all like, put a bomb on you, put another bomb on you, watch as you get poked to death. A champion should never only have one offensive option. This leads to that ability becoming stronger than usual as to compensate for being the only thing that can hurt the enemy.

I just really hate Zilean and his stupid bombs. You can't dodge them, you can't run away from them, I would rather fight a Zed than a Zilean because you can at least kite him. And it's extremely hard to hit a good Zilean with a skillshot because of his ms boost, and if you do manage to hit him, most champions require a full combo including an ult to kill someone unless Zil, and if Zil manages to ult before he dies, then you're screwed because you now don't have the ult required to kill him again. That is even if can catch him after he revives because of again, that stupid ms boost.

It turns out making your entire team hit power thresholds faster simply because you exist was pretty good for helping them win.

It's not bad that his passive was made local, what's bad is that he didn't get a single compensatory buff, resulting in a straight nerf.

Buff his passive again, just not through range.

Make it something like "Zilean and all allies within X range of Zilean gain Y experience per Z seconds."

I've always thought of Zil as a weak champion in the first place, I wouldn't even let him on my team now. Roit just remove him
