The Shadow Isles and the seven deadly sins.

I believe a long time ago Riot mentioned (on Reddit I believe) that the Shadow Isles champions had some inspiration from the seven deadly sins. Now that we have more champions, and there lores have become more fleshed out, does it still apply?

I think for the most part it does:

Hecarim Is envy, he couldn't stand that someone got a position instead of him so he killed him and took it. Karthus Is pride, he is obsessed with death and tries to force his view onto everyone. Kalista Definitely wraith, I don't think this needs an explanation. Thresh Gluttony, while he's more about torture, he figuratively devours souls and when you get enough souls his passive becomes "Soul gluttony" Yorick Is sloth, He never made a legacy for his family name, which cursed him to the shadow isles.

I believe Mordekaiser is Greed, because he tried to take over the world. I'm not sure he counts though, as he's not undead from the same source as the others.

I don't thinkElise counts at all, since she's not undead at all. In fact I don't even think she lives on the shadow isles, and only affiliated with it to appear and sacrifice for her immortality.

Evelynn Evelynn would be lust from what we know about her, but we don't know enough to draw a conclusion. They said she was from the shadow isles but her story is really a mystery.

I like the horseman concept better.

Hecarim: War Karthus: Death Thresh: Famine Mordekaiser: Conquest

I have a whole theory around Evelynn that I won't go into here, but I agree that she would fall into lust; not in the widely viewed 'i lust after the pleasures of the flesh' but more 'I like it when they scream.' She lusts after pain, death, blood. Her quotes, her lore, what other characters have to say about her, and even her title 'Widowmaker' implies such.

Jax has said she the 'ultimate predator' and she's considered to be one of the most skilled assassins in Valoran and I think she fucking loves every second of her chase. She's savage af but her poor visual design downplays it considerably.

Of course you could stretch it and say she fits into Wrath but I don't believe there's any anger involved in what she does.

I really doubt that. The problem is that once they'll add another champion from the SI you'll need to think of another reason why one of them doesn't count.

I mean you say Elise doesn't count because she isn't necessarily undead, but you could also say the same about Evelynn,or argue that Mordekaiser should be excluded because he wasn't revived by the black mist.
