I had never played against a malz before

As the title suggests, I had literally never played against the new malz before as he has literally always been banned. All I have to say is thus: What the actual fuck, riot? Someone on your design team has gone off the deep end and somehow talked the rest of them into inane idiocy.

Needless to say, I won. But still, seriously?

Edit: I could sit here and list off all the things I think are broken about the new iteration of Malzahar. But honestly his ban-rate (in my elo at least) speaks volumes. They should have hot-fixed him or at least got player feedback on him. I'm sure playing him feels awesome, who doesnt enjoy enabling godmode on games? But playing against his is miserable. I won at every stage of my game against him and still felt that I was losing personally every time I saw him. Riot talks about having "counterplay" and that they want the game to be enjoyable. But then they make anit-fun mechanics and refuse to fix them for eons to the point where one champion is excluded from the game as a whole for swaths of time.
